I was wondering if there could be a little button (maybe the smiley face you can choose when making a topic?) you hover over on forum topic lists that tells you how many times you've posted in that particular thread. It probably wouldn't rise to the top of the priority list or anything, I'm guessing, but it would be nice, little addition.

Nice idea. I'd rather not add any more graphic elements to the line, though. There doesn't seem to be any tooltip on the folder icons at the moment (unless you're using IE, which incorrectly tooltipifies the ALT attribute) so perhaps it could go on there.

Now that you mention it, I have caught myself reading a long thread and then finding my post in it and then I've said, "Oh yeah, now I remember reading it, and that is what I was going to say anyway."

Well, if it gets added it would be a nice Band-Aid to momentary memory lapses.

If you mean that we don't have an option that tells you how many times you've posted in a thread, there actually already is an option for that: click on the number of posts for a thread, and a popup window will tell you how many times everybody's posted in there.

I discovered this completely by accident about a year ago or something.

Now if you mean to move that around and/or add little icons to it, or make a column all its own on the forum pages, or make tooltips when you hover over a topic title, I can see where you're going with it.

That's awesome, I was just wondering if there was such a feature here, and now I know. That is quite useful. Thanx for pointing it out.

For some stupid reason, that link doesn't get attached to the replies column in search listings (e.g. View New Posts). That's something I'll definitely try to fix. With that done, how about adding a tooltip that says something like "Show who has posted in this topic. (You have posted x times in this topic.)"when you hover over that number?

Just throwing another possibility out there, but you know how there's a little dot on the folder graphic on the left if you've already posted? You could have that replaced by a number.

That'd require drawing separate graphics for every whole number. For all the skins.

So we might go for a slightly easier option.
