Curley is the only one who casts a revive spell which is Life 2 so take him out first.

gah i hated that part of the game, totally ruined the theme by throwing in 3 stooges, wth, oh well, still my favorite of the ff series

Well, in Japan the names were closer to Reve, Songo and Sueno (That may not be the exact names) and were not called 'The three dream stooges' at all. Although I forget what they were called.
 It's commonly rumoured that they were based on a popular Japanese show however when it was released in America no one would get it so they changed it to a more Western joke. -------------------- The Arcana are the means by which ALL is revealed. |

i liked fighting these guys it is just one more battle that makes you think on your feet. in a way it is a battle that links it to four, cause that almost extaclly how the magus sisters are in 4.

First of all,before doing Cyan's dream,level up your characters as much as possible.Then bring Edgar,Sabin,and Mog.Make sure Edgar has the Chain-Saw and the Drill,Sabin has the Bum Rush,and Mog has a Pearl Lance (Fanatics Tower),the Water Rondo,and the Moogle Charm.Put Mog in the fourth slot with the Moogle Charm because when you are seperated,you play as the fourth slot character.The moogle charm is there because there are very powerful enemies that can take out the fourth slot character alone even if he/she is at Level 99.Then,when you have all of your characters back and are fighting the DS,have Edgar use the chain saw or drill,which ever one you have.Have Sabin do the Bum Rush and have Mog use the Water Rondo.You should have no problem!Or you could do the vanish/X-zone Trick.

No specific group of characters is needed to fight these guys. Just bring whoever you have and equip your characters with relics that protect against petrify. Petrify is the biggest threat the stooges present against you. Target Curley first, then after he's gone take out the other two with the best attacks you have.
