in the opera house, i'm at the part where you have to go down to the dressing rooms. there's only two paths i see. the one on the left has a door that won't open, and the right is blocked by the stage master. what's my problem. and before anyone points me there, i read the site walkthrough and all it says is to go down to the dressing rooms.

From where Locke stands up, there's a diagonal path between the seats to the right. Go down there, down the steps, and to the dressing room door on the far right.

After the dressing rooms, you will have to go back to your seat until ultros threatens the show. then, you must go to the the room with that guy bloking the stairs, which is the path to the left of where you are sitting.

After you fight the sewer rats, you fight ultros, and move on with the game.

Just run through. You should reach the Esper easily enough. Watch out for the dragon, though, he could wipe you out. biggrin.gif

I think Malevolence means getting mog in the WOB, there is no dragon in there at that time. It is simple enough, but you have to have your airship. You have to go to the house in Narshe where you get all of the great items and trace Lonewolf's steps. He will lead you to the Frozen Esper area from there. Hope that helps.
