There are many possibilities, but my favorite route is pretty straight forward. First I go Knight/Squire, and then I transition into Samurai/Squire with Two Swords. I try to level him as various classes that I want stat improvements from, but play serious missions as Samurai/Squire or a simular makeup.

I go to Monk immediately and Master it. I then go to Ninja for 'Two Swords.' That's basically my game plan when I start a normal game of FFT. Right now, however, I have him as a Priest because I'm cool like that, yo. cool.gif

Two Swords Knight or Equip Armor Ninja, depending on my mood. Both with Guts as the secondary ability, of course.

I usually have Ramza as a Monk with Item as his secondary ability.

I just thought it sucks, Delita got to be a holy knight while Ramza is stuck with the ordinary job classes (not that there's something wrong with it, really).

I usually have him as a Knight with Black Magic, Two Swords, and Auto-Potion with Move HP-Up. With two powerful knight swords and a wealthy black magic library, he's unbeatable (though a challenge to level up that way).

At the moment (and it's my usual setup), he's a Squire with Draw Out, equiped with Excalibur, Aegis Shield, Thief Hat or Flash Hat, Robe of Lords (or Wizard Robe if the Robe of Lords isn't available) and Genji Gauntlet.

Support ability is usually Magic Attack Up, Attack Up, Two Swords or Secret Hunt : it depends on wether or not I want him to be a close-range attacker or a middle and long range attacker. Right now I prefer the Magic Attack Up support, for the extra damage with Draw Out skills.

Guts in chapter 4 is a lot more useful than the special classes you get, especially Holy Knight.

the status enhancing abilities can easily make Ramza a killing machine in a few turns, plus you get Ultima, a cheap and relatively damaging attack.

Ramza the Squire with all his skills could definitely take out Holy Knight Delita, given Delita didnt start out right on top of him.

Name: Ramza

Job Class: Monk

Skills: Guts, Two swords or Equip Armor, Blade Grasp, Move HP Up.

Equipment: Reflect Mail or Rubber Suit, Bracer.

I pump up Ramza's brave to 97, then give him blade grasp, meaning physical attacks don't do anything. I give him two swords if I want, for the purpose of landing two very potent monk punches when usually the first kills the enemy, just in case. Or equip armor with Reflect Mail, which pretty much makes him invulnerable to harm. Only a few magic attacks and the dash manuever can do damage, with the exception of special sword attacks. But those characters are dead in seconds anyway. Move HP Up just to ensure that Ramza is pretty much invincible, and the Bracer for a harder punch.

Then he's ripped.

He alternates between Suqire and Knight for me, but he tends to be a squire more because I like accumulate alot (cheap EXP!).

I put Ramza as a summoner with sing as his second action. so if I run out of MP to summon Clops and Bahamut, i can always help out my team.
