How can I check the amount of battles left before it turns into Paladin Shield?
That is, what is the hex address of the savestate/save file in the FF3US ROM, where the number of battles is stored? |

7E:1DD5. You can see this for more info, just ignore the Gogo bit, we know why it can't uncurse the shield now (the uncursing process is tied to learning magic. I dunno why it was done this way).
Edit For ZSNES save states, go to whatever 1DD5h + C13h equals. Too lazy to do the math. For SNES9x, the save states for it are compressed, and even then, I don't use it for save state hacking so I can't tell you the size of the header. :\ This post has been edited by Master ZED on 1st October 2004 18:54 -------------------- |
