Living in the UK, I've always wanted to play FFT but have never had the opportunity, and was wondering if anyone knows whether or not it recieved an Australian release. I ask this because, apparently, they use PAL also. If this is infact the case, does anyone know of a place online where the Australian release of FFT is purchasable? I've had a bit of a browse to no avail. Thanks in advance.

I have no idea if there was a special Australian release and I don't live in Australia but doing a Google Search I found this list in less than 30 seconds.

Er... thanks. I should've been more general with my browsing, I guess. And more efficient. And shouldn't have got distracted by electric bicycles.

I had that problem, that is why I got an import PS, it helps to have friends in America, getting import games is costly, but buying them from the saurce is cheeper than buying games here.

Thanks. I'll look into that. Do you have any idea, roughly, on the cost of doing this?

Well, if you don't have any American contacts, you have two options. One would be to get your PS2 chipped, I don't really recommend that though... I dunno how much chipping costs as I've never found a seedy enough place that does it. tongue.gif Second would be to get an American PS1 or PS2, an American PS1 would set you back about £75 from a shop, prolly cheaper on Ebay. The hard part is getting FF Tactics. If you can shop online, that's a piece of cake, shouldn't cost more than £14 on Ebay. If not you'll be lucky to find it these days and not for less than £35.

Overall best bet is to shop on Ebay, that'd set you back about £50-60 to get all that's needed. Hunting down a shop, you're looking at about £100.

I wish I had an Ebay account, I could get Xenogears. Damn game is impossible to find elsewhere...

EDIT:
FYI, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was released in Australia as Final Fantasy Tactics. Oh yes, Add Au to the already confused game naming system of Jap, US and Eu and your head will explode. ^^

Oh no... I would almost sell my first born for a proper sequel to that game. If I had a first born that is. shifty.gif

I really can't say that about many other games.
