I'm not sure if this counts as an error or troubleshooting, but I didn't know where else to post this. How do I get a picture from my hard drive into the Caves? I've tried the image tags, but it asks for a URL and, being in the My Pictures folder on my C drive, it naturally has none. I know it can be done, I've seen it. I'm just a fool who doesn't know how.

You can't link a file from your computer to the internet because your computer isn't setup as a server. You can however upload your image to some storage space on a computer that is a server. This can be done by uploading your image to your web site by FTP or by using an image hosting service, such as the one below.
PhotoBucket Once you have sent your image to the server, you simply take the link to the address that was given to you and paste it as you would any other internet URL link. Edit Here are some more image hosting sites: Google - Image Hosting This post has been edited by Endless Knight on 13th September 2004 22:45 |

In the Submissions and Creations forums, there should also be a field to add an attachment to a post, which can be a file from your computer. You can use that even without hosting.
