![]() Frederica (Bahamut Lagoon) as a chemist from FFT, because she wants to open a pharmacy. <.< It made sense in my sleep deprived mind. I suck at coloring. Maybe I'll CG it, and screw it up more. >.> EDIT: Here's another Bahamut Lagoon picture, of Byuu and Yoyo done in an hour via mouse. I'm going to redo the CG coloring on this one so it doesn't completely suck. ![]() This post has been edited by Nepheliad on 3rd September 2007 04:54 |

Perhaps a bit nit-picky on my part, but some of the folds on the right sleeve and the opening of the sleeve there dun seem to be facing the right direction for that pose. Beyond that, though, there's a certain simplicity to it that kind of appeals to me. And I don't see a real problem with the coloring, though the whole image does look faded...

Yeah, some are facing the wrong direction, because I in my sleepiness drew some of it as though it dangles freely, and some as though it's crumpled on the ledge. And there's the middle line that just shouldn't be there. Got too apathetic after twenty minutes of doodling to do anything about it, though. >.> 'S not nit-picky. Do you mean the simplicity in the pose and background, or in Frederica's composition? And it looks faded because I suck at coloring. ![]() |

Quote (Nepheliad @ 2nd September 2007 23:45) Do you mean the simplicity in the pose and background, or in Frederica's composition? There ain't a lot of busy detail, which, for your style here, isn't necessarily a bad thing. I don't always want to pore over intricate details and, as far as I'm concerned, all the fundamental elements are there in your drawing and, aside from the minor flaws I already noted, it all looks really good. I could pretty much say the same thing about the other drawing. It's even better by virtue of being a lot more vivid, yay! How Byuu's cape wraps around them is cool, too. -------------------- |
