Quote (eternalsphere @ 26th September 2004 17:50) Kain would be able to win over Cecil easily. Kain can jump and avoid Cecil's attacks, then land on him and deal huge damage. And Cecil's healing magic? It wouldn't be able to heal him enough before Kain's next jump. Kain is also cooler than Cecil even after he turns into a paladin because he's a dragoon. Cain's Jump is slower and weaker than Paladin Cecil's attacks. It was said earlier how Cecil's healing isn't about undoing the damage Kain does, it's about making his atacks less effective. Instead of doing 1500 every turn, Kain would be doing 1000 -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |

(I disited not to go up against the end boss ontil Redia lerned Meteo, level 60 for her. By that time Cecil was at level 64 or 5.) -------------------- "If you believe you can tell me what to think, I believe I can tell you where to go." -unknown Long live the crazy old man! After thinking it through, and even though i would have liked Kain to win all the way, i believe that Paladin Cecil will kick his ass (i'm not to sure about Dark Cecil, for his Dark Wave consumes HP)

Kain's my man! And I totally agree, he was the most "human" character in the game.

ok guys.
the clear winner is DK Cecil, not kain and not paladin cecil. equipped with the death sword kain dies with 1 blow it can kill instantly. ![]() Possible spoilers: highlight to view remember that fact. problem only here is, that you will get the sword of death from the king of fabul and that is afer the fight with kain...fortunately, cause else kain would be dead and could not join cecil party later. imagine, this sword works on party members as well. kain would win hands down
just by jumping cecil to death (power to the dragoons) also kain is so much cooler than cecil however DK cecil would put up a much better fight than Paly cecil, better skill, cooler weapons, cooler armor, but sadly kain would still win -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |
