...FFVIII-FFXII?

I realize that another poster recently asked about Mystic Quest, but why not more popular FF games, like those mentioned above?
I loved FFIX especially, and FFVIII and FFX are VERY popular on the forums. Now, if the reason is because you can't get walkthroughs etc for them, than I guess that's that. But if you can, I definitely suggest it. You'll probably get a lot of new fans. After all, why not make the Caves a general FF site, right?

It's sorta because they haven't gotten to them yet. Considering FF7 just got put in after 8 years, It will take a little while longer for 4-5 games more to come in, and these are all more complex games being in 3-D. When were you expecting them to appear?

One could say that our niche is in the old games, but that tried and true excue it out of the gutter now that we have FF7. I know Tiddles, in particular, would hate designing a section for a game he LOATHES (), but you never know, we may do it in the future. It's a LOT of hard work to release sections, and every new version of Final Fantasy adds more and more stuff to cover.

To put it in perspective, we did Final Fantasy 7 in a year, a whole year of work. During that year we did FF1 as well, but in a much shorter span of time. Currently, our outlook is to improve our current sections because a few (namely FF4 and FF6) are outdated code and database backend, and hey, maybe we'll have some new things for them soon, but maybe not .

On the topic of walkthroughs, we have plenty of competant and talented writers willing to give us time and effort .

I see. Fair enough.
I offer my writing talent to FFIX, at the least (as it was my fav FF besides FFT).
I've only been here a year (counting my first time screen name), so I didn't realize how long it had taken for FFVII. Meh.

FF7 took more like two years, in fact. That's partly because a lot of us are very busy these days, but that hasn't changed since.
