Yeah, you can find a tool list on the website attached to these forums. It's in the Weapons list of the FF6 section.

There is also now a link to the Tools section from Edgar's bio.

The 'code' is the order you have to place the hands on a clock in Zozo to get the chainsaw. The clock is located in the building farthest to the north in the town (I can't remeber if it's an inn 'r what). And you can steal chainsaws from the Duellers in Kefka's Tower.

I just figured out the other day how to solve that riddle... I always felt so guilty for using a faq for the 6:10:50, but then it hit me... they're ALL liers, just talk to all of them, and cross out as you go, you'll get the right combo eventually.

does having mulitple tools (such as 2-3 chainsaws) have any effect or just a waist of space?

It's a waste of space but raises an interesting question. If Gogo and Edgar both have the Tools command do they both need their own set of tools? I'm guessing not since they don't personally "equip" tools. They just pull the tools out of the item bag when they want to use them. tongue.gif

I haven't played the PS version since I bought it, but in the SNES FF3 you didn't need separate tools for each of them.

Ah yes the infamous item bag. To small to see but so big that it can carry almost infiniti items. I could use that for my school books.

That brings up another interesting point... with no item back you would have to equip each potion (etc) to every different character! Owww!
