There is no code or cheat in the game to make anyone a Dark Knight. I've only heard of this working with a Game Genie....

Whatever method that has been told or recommended to you, DrgnKakashi, is false and you shouldn't spend any more time wasting on it. But, for posterity, I'll post what the supposed method of getting Ramza to be a Dark Knight:
Before the Zirekile Falls battle in Chapter 2, strip Gafgarion of all his armor and change his class to a Priest (there are variants of this w/ different skillsets, staffs, etc.). Put all of his armor on Ramza and continue on in the chapter until the one-on-one battle with Gafgarion at the Lionel Castle gates. Kill Gafgarion and he'll instantly crystalize and if you get that crystal, you'll be turned into a Dark Knight...or, actually, your Squire job will change into the Dark Knight job. It's supposed to work that way but it has been disproven time and time again and, even if you are a Squire and collect Gaffy's crystal, nothing happens. Too bad, too, since Night Sword owns. =/ -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |

So Gafgarion lived all those long years, for the sole purpose of passing on one of the weakest item skills to Ramza. hahahaha Sucker. ![]() I wonder why rumors like this get started? Are grade school kids trying to impress their peers with exclusive "knowledge"? (That and older people who have that same mentality.) It really is too bad. Being a dark knight would own!
I remember when I first heard about that trick. Man, I tried it like a hundred tries before I finally admitted to myself that I'd been duped. |

It doesn't really seem possible since, by definition, Dark Knights are a class that lives in the shadows of darkness and have denounced God.
It sucks having a special squire class, though. If I were Ramza, I'd find someone--anyone--to promote me and then I could continue along my mery way. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |
