The next and likely final Megadeth album before Dave Mustaine officially goes solo (he pretty much is already on this new 'Deth album) is being called "The System Has Failed" is coming out around Sept. 14, and the first single "Die Dead Enough" is already starting to get some airtime on the radio. I heard another song off the album, "Kick the Chair", a few months back and it holds great promise. The riffs are almost "Rust in Peace/Youthanasia"-like, and the first of the four solos at the end is one of the best I've ever heard (it sounds like a machine did it because its so precise and consistant...just an example of how good Dave Mustaine is at the guitar, and how much he has recovered since the arm injury).

I doubt it will be their their last, though it maybe their last good one as I'm sad to say sad.gif But I hope not, and I hope Mustaine has a great solo career. What say you?

Maybe one day in a dream where I have enough money, I might drop the cash on this one. =)

A lot of bands usually reach this stage: they get to where they can't stand each other or just don't think they're going anywhere with the current deal and go off to do something else. They don't always get a lot of good marks for doing so, but it's just something you have to do once you get to a certain point.

ARE YOU F!@%$% KIDDING ME?! I thought Megadeth was through a while ago I heard Mustaine had problems with his hand and could not play guitar anymore. I am getting it I do not care if I have no money I will steal it. I loved the last album "The World Needs A Hero" even though they butcherd "Hanger 18" with the remake. I love how Megadeth, unlike Metallica (cough sell out %#%$_) have stayed true to their roots and play REAL music (unlike most bands today). My first concert was a Megadeth concert when i was in 6th grade. Went right into the mosh pit and had a blast especially when they played "Peace Sells" in the encore. They all say Mustaine was kicked out of Metallica cause he was too wild for them, and I am glad cause he formed a better band and while they have not sold as much as Metallica they have defined themselves as being THE elite thrash metal band, Metallica has nothing on them. LONG LIVE DAVE MUSTAINE AND MEGADETH (Peace sells, but whos buying)

You got a link to back this up? Sorry man, but I don't believe you. A long while back, I went through a week or so of the radio constantly talking about how they broke up and having all kinds of marathons because of it.

Put up a link to a news article or something and I'll reconsider.
