In the battle at the temple, I know that the items are on the top of the two pillars, but I can't find a way to get a character with Move-Find item on top of either of them. Any ideas?

Reis and Worker-8 can be used as stepping stones to reach the heights if your jump stat isn't that great. It's just about the only way since Ignore Height can't be used to get the Escutcheon II. The shield is the only one-of-a-kind item, so you only need bother with that if you don't think you can survive. Javelins are thrown by enemies in Deep Dungeon.

I use Rafa on Germinas Peak to get the Vanish Mantle, in the Deep Dungeon to get the goods there, and yes, at Nelveska.
Master the Chemist class with her and stock up on X-potions and Phoenix down for the Nelveska trip, just in case you may need them. Hopefully you won't, as it will spoil the general plan for the battle, but if it comes down to someone crystallizing or her becomming visible, make her use an item. Give her Move-Find item, knock her brave down to 10, and equip her with the Vanish Mantle. Start the battle with Worker 8 or Reis on the bottom-right square so it will be right in front of the pillar with the GEII on it. Put Rafa right behind Worker 8. On her first turn, hop right on up there and claim your prize, g. -------------------- Join the Army, see the world, meet interesting people - and kill them. ~Pacifist Badge, 1978 |

If you had enough time after speed and power breaking, you can always get the Nagrarok that's hidden in the very back of the temple enterance or the Sasuke Knife that's laying around in the back of the temple mount. They're pretty good that point in the game, also.
