All this is just a matter of opinion.

Really I don't know whats hard in FFI, all the game long my monks were 1 hit killing everything, And Knights always take 1dam if you buy a new armor half of the time. FFVI was just plain easy even though it has the best awards in other terms. FFII's system is too easely exploitable and stupid (since when using a shield improves your agility?).

I guess FFT is hard since luck is almost never on our side (if you played you know what I mean).

FFX-2 is pretty average and the same goes for FFX I only placed them there because there is an option to access to much stronger bosses.

Totally unsure about II, adventure and legend, since its been like 10 ga-jillion years since ive even touched them, but i remember struggling to get to the ends of them...except II, never beat it...

FF tactics:I really really like the music,and enjoy the story very much,but the gameplay drives me insane in difficulty at times.
FF2(nes)The first half:You have a lack of mana,and the first part is really hard.You have to spend a small fortune on getting potions for mana and such because you won't survive.

FF legends 2:this game has some pretty mean fights.During the end,you encounter cheap enemies who spam tornado a lot.And pray not to get hiawatha.
FFX:The game has some challenge,but its nothing much so far.There are some cheap bosses,like:Yunalesca,and one of the ghost forms of seymour who has some cheap attacks.I haven't beaten the game yet,but i want to some day.
FF6(SNES)-Easy
FF legends 1:It has its difficult moments,but its not much.
FF7(psx)
FF crystal chronicles:I didn't find the game that hard to beat.
FF8(psx)
FF Mystic quest.

Ridiculously easy
FF3 (Legends) gameboy
The end of ff2(once you get past the broken hard part,the rest is ridiculously easy.You just have to cast toad and mini on any enemy you find,and you get insta victory.This even works on semi bosses like:blue dragons and red dragons)
FFXIII:All i have to do at times is just buttonmash my way through the game.The free healing after fights make the game mindless,and take away most of the challenge.Instead of the challenge being about preparing for the location and thinking ahead,its about mindlessly mashing buffs and debuffs on enemies to make them weak enough to kill quickly for more stars.

GUYs,i can't remember ff adventure.I'm pretty sure i played it one time or another,but i cannot remember it.Isn't that the one that you get bombs and stuff and use it on the screen?

FF tactics is much harder than ff1 on the nes.
FF1 on the nes has a few really hard moments,but mostly,there are a few troublesome locations.For me,the most difficult are:The marsh cave ice cave(Stupid wizard guys who slay you with physical attacks) and the tower of trials(catman and medusas are annoying)After that,they are all really easy for the most part.Bane breaks the game and the lightning gauntlet is abusive to the point of extreme in places like the underwater area where kranken is.

Oh yeah:i beat ff4 on the gba,and the ds and psx are far far harder.
How is the FF 2 on gba version? I played only the nes version of the japanese ff2.
I heard that they fixed some stuff from ff2 on the gba.

Did I say I played Tactics? No, I didn't. And FFIV can be downright difficult on the GBA, as well as FFII GBA.

And FFII is on Dawn of Souls. Seriously, please pay more attention. I said I haven't played them ALL.
