We've hit another milestone, as can be seen further down in the main forums page. Del_S amazingly guessed correctly to nearly the exact date. Here's his quote, from the 30,000 post news thread:

“And also, i predict July 4-6th for the 50,000th post.”

Here is a quote from Del_S, upon learning that he guessed right, from the chatroom:

Well, there you have it folks. By the way, the 50,000th poster was Mogmaster, posting in this Kefka fanart topic. As you can see, it was on the 4th of July at 7pm GMT.

If I remember correctly, Del's guess was one of the earlier ones, so I'm gonna say that Tidu-who's guestimate will probably be close.

well considering the next big milestone isn't 60,000 or 70,000, but the correct next milestone is 75,000, therefore we should be predicting the date that that amount of posts is reached.

The way things are going, 100,000 isn't too far down the road. The only problem being is that I see many future posts being stuff like: "omg bcuz terra is teh hawt" and "FIGARO IS A GAY BITCH".

But anyways, congrats on 50,000 posts.

To add a little side note, what's the biggest (most postiest) forum you've ever seen? I saw this one that was like FF stuff, and it just recently reached 50,000 posts. But I don't get around much, so I'm not an expert at stuff like this. Maybe someone else has seen a bigger forum somewhere.

Biggest forum? I'd have to say an Advent Children forum I go to...I mean, HOLY CRAP, the place is crawling with n00bs, but aside from that- it's been there for only about half a year, but has 4000 something members I think. Damned big, and how many the amount of posts there is tremendous. 450 thousand something, I believe...

Yeah, that sounded REALLY stupid.
