10. The Brak show
9. Spongebob Squarepants 8. Futurama 7. Family Guy 6. Hellsing 5. G Gundam 4. Sealab 2021 3. Harvey Birdman - Attorney at Law 2. Trigun 1. Rurouni Kenshin There you have it. That mayn't be the right order from 4th place and higher. I'm not entirely sure. But I do know that 1, 2, and 3 are in the exactly correct order. -------------------- "It is a part of human nature to be evil, and it is a part of human nature to destroy evil, therefore, when evil is destroyed, so will be the human race..." - Atma |

I recently aquired the first couple seasons of X-Men and I must say I can't believe I didn't mention this before. This is the best American toon of all time. I used to watch it every week and now I'm watching it every day.

Does anyone watch the new Ninja Turtles? It's way better than the old one (less silly, stays truer to the comics..), and I sleeped, ate, and breathed the old ninja turtles cartoon...Literally. (Well maybe not breathed, I don't remember them marketing turtles oxygen, but I would have sucked it up if they did)

Actually I liked the old one a lot more. The new turtles are too busy trying to look bada** to have real personalities. I only watched a couple of episodes but I thought the stories were uninteresting and poorly written compared with what's seen in the original show. Then again the old show gets nostalgia points so maybe it's an unfair comparison.

Oh man, I completely forgot about the Ninja Turtles! They were my lifeblood for several years and the best thing since sliced bread back in the day (Michelangelo was always my favorite...not that that bears any real significance). I haven't caught any of the new episodes; keep forgetting when they air.

Quote (i90east @ 2nd September 2004 20:54) I only watched a couple of episodes but I thought the stories were uninteresting and poorly written compared with what's seen in the original show. The stories are in fact the original stories. Barely altered from the original comic, it was the tv cartoon that mangled them. Not that I had a problem with that, and I do regret that I won't see Yosagi Yojimbo again...but the show that is airing now is more mature, I can watch it whereas I couldn't have watched the old one again. Also it's got some cool little tributes in it, they worked in a scene that put April back in her yellow reporter outfit (She isn't a reporter in the new series). -------------------- "That Light has bestowed upon me the greatest black magic!" |

New TMNT series sounds interesting. I thought the old one started out great, got a little campy, and then caught its second wind with a couple awesome series of the bigger & better-type era.
