Hmm, maybe Tritoch...
That way I get to vaporize Biggs and Wedge and probably be the most known esper in the game. Everyone wants a piece of me, and I'm a frozen block of ice. Works for me. The whole suicidal-esper thing is a bit... over the top though... Hmmm... Maybe Odin? Edgar for me, definitly Edgar. He has all the tools at his disposal, good with chocobos, and is a generally reat guy! Smart too
Though it might be a pain to deal with some people, it would be fun to play games with the gals. (Okay, so I am a gal but uhm... er... nvm! *Laughs*) Hmmmm.... another awesome character to be wuld be Celes. Why? Because she can sing. -------------------- Care to meet the goggled wolfie? Between the game and amono's artwork Locke seems pleasent, calm, charming, and nice. I can imagine him quietly pulling something from behind his back and saying "hey... look what I have..." and he's also a bad-ass (in that amano kind of way).
Plus he has a few different outfits. If I'm going to be someone I want to be able to change my clothes. I'd get along with most of the characters I think. |

Simple, Setzer.
Freedom from obligation. He simply shrugged off his past in the first half of the game. Totally fearless. In the second half however, he has to face the past, not terribly fun. But he accepts the bad with the good of his past. Besides, the coat is awesome and Fixed Dice+Offering=...I'm not good at math, but can do crazy damage! Lastly, if Locke just happens to be 'forgotten' in a particular cave, he gets Celes. (He does like the opera singers. He's given a few nice words to her before.) I'd like to be Locke or Setzer, it must be awesome to roam the world like that.
 This "real" world doesn't work that way, you can't just navigate an airship or something, you've got to stick to countless stupid laws wherever you go. Buy a flight ticket, catch a taxi, get a hotel room, get permission from EVERYTHING and so on. That's so meh. I think I'd probably be Relm. She hasn't experienced as much trauma as the other characters, she just says whatever she wants to say, could make a killer living as an artist, and she gets to play with Interceptor. It'd be so cool to have this dog around that growls and snaps at everyone except me and my ninja

I've thought about it as I have read this topic, and if I had the choice I wouldn't be anyone in the game. Too much Apocalypse for me, but if I had to choose I would be Sabin. It would be cool to know the martial arts, and he always seems to be the most optimistic people in the game. Also, despite what I said, it would be kind of cool to be on the Floating Continent or in Kefka's Tower and have the fate of the world in your hands, that is something that few people can say they have ever done, what a bedtime story for your kids.
Plus, anybody that has played the game know that Sabin is awesomely powerful, especially since his skill is the best, and if you think about it, we don't know if magic declined or not, so he could wind up being more powerful than the characters like Terra and Celes whose strength were based on magic, maybe making him the strongest character in the game. I know he lost both of his parents, but he seems to have made his peace with it, and it is his optimism that would draw me to choose him, and for some really weird reason, so would the mullet. I would never cut my hair like a mullet, but it would still be interesting to know what one feels like. -------------------- |

Kefka to a certain extent, it must be cool to be inexcusably evil without caring who you kil or mame. I also wouldn't mind being Relm, not knowing or having to worry about things the older ones in the group do. I've always wanted to be Locke though.
