Losing Mp?

I noticed this happening right after I arrived in Kolinghen in the WOB, for the first time. For some reason, Celes was gradualy loosing her MP. It seemed she lost a little MP after each turn, regardless of weather I used magic or not. I think she's still loosing MP, even though I'm now at the Vector Magitek Facility. It's really rather annoying, and it never happens to any other charecter. What's up?

You've just equipped the Rune Edge, a weapon that will always do critical hits when there's MP to do so. The cost will be randomly chosen from 12 MP to 19 MP. Quite the costly physical blow, so you might want to consider equipped another weapon.

Aha! Thanks, I thought it had something to do with the Rune Edge. I don't suppose there's any other sword that will allow her to do Runic is there?

Oh, if you imagine it having a blade, it'll do Runic for you. Exception is the Atma Weapon, which doesn't, and Magus Rod, which does.

D'oh! And here I was, having Celes carry the Rune Blade around forever thinking it was the only sword you can use Runic with. In my farther records, I had just gone straight from the Runic Blade to the Atma Weapon for her... Anyhow. Thanks!
