CoN 25th Anniversary: 1997-2022
What's the deal??!!

A friend of mine let me borrow FF Origins for awhile. I finally got around to playing it and I started with FF 2 (which was my first time to play it). After the starting video I'm in a battle with four enemies which I have no chance of beating, and the four slaughter me in seconds... now I've asked around and from what I've heard, you're suppossed to loose this battle but for some reason after I'm killed it goes to the GAME OVER screen and then right back to the start screen... Am I supposed to win this fight somehow (which I can't see possible since they dodge all of my attacks and two of my characters are dead before I even get to choose a command for them) or is the copy of the game just messed up?

You are indeed supposed to lose that battle. No idea why it would break and send you to the title screen, here.

Tiddles is right... That particular battle is virtually impossible to win. Freaked out disk, maybe?
