For me, it'll be Kefka/Gau. Kefka's demented, and Gau... is technically an enemy for short periods of time, and my favorite char!

My favorite boss is the Atma Weapon, i love the music during that fight and the challenge. My favorite enemy is the Bracheosaurse in the WoR, great way to level up and they drop economizers.

Ultros, he has by far the most character.

I'm with BGrugby on this one. Atma Weapon's theme really sets the mood for an intense battle, and bosses with extra large sprites are always fun. However I prefer the EV2 Atma Weapon since you actually have to fight as hard as you can to win. I wouldn't count Gau as an enemy even if he technically is because figuratively he's not. Otherwise he'd be my favorite enemy too. Now since enemy AI in the original version of FFVI is not great or even good it's hard to choose a favorite enemy. They're all pretty boring. I guess Whisper is my favorite because of the cool looking sprite, the fun demi spell and the interesting yet entertaining 5 HP deterioration. 5,5,5,5,5...

although the atma is cool... kefka is just a cool bad guy to fight... probably beause he has a story behind him. ultros is a cool guy too, because as a comic relief, he is very tough.
not to mention that tunnelarmr! that guy has some development... i always (dis)liked him... -------------------- Uwee he he! |

I have a few favorite bosses: Final Kefka, Atma, Ultros, and WrexSoul.

I completly agree with BGrugby, Atma/Brachosaur. If you don't Vanish/Doom, Atma is the single hardest fight in the game (save possibly MagiMaster, if you haven't leveled up enough), and the same goes for Brachosaur as an enemy, who is more difficult than most bosses.

My favorite boss fight has always been Chardarnook (sp?) when you get Relm back in the WoR. I love how the painting changes from a girl to a demon

Kefka, of course, then Ultros. Because he just keeps going and going and going and going... but he never actually gets "gone". =Þ
As for enemies, the peepers are always fun, especially if you're un-cursing the Cursed Shield and can't be bothered with fights that actually pose a challenge. (Mog versus a group of three Peepers) Mog: *sticks out tongue* Peepers: *lose 2 HP and die of fright* |

I have to say the Demon wall Chadarnook. It's so cool when the picture changed they should done it with different enemies with that effect. I got scared when I first played it when I was a kid and when she changed I nearly had a heart attack cuz of the demon....

Well, I obviously like Ultros. He was just so wacky! Yeeeowch! Seafood Soup!
 Kefka was okay, though I haven't fought him the final time, so I can't really say he's my favorate yet. I have both their theme music's on my computer though, Heh. I think the background and music help set a likeable atmosphere for bosses, so for me I liked the final Kefka, the bosses leading up to him, the Phantom Train, and Atma on the Floating Island. My favorite enemy is definately Brachosaur.

My favorite boss is also ultros because in the he doesn't know he is a octopus when you first encounter him and when he finds out he is one he is so confused that he runs away, my favorite enemy is the cactor cause almost every attack misses on him butt if you win you'll get 10 magic points!

as far as boss fights go, I like fighting the 3 gods of magic, or the second atma weapon.
For normal enemies, nothing beats the peepers. They're so cuddly and cute, like gigantic radioactive mutated mice, but then they end up dying from the radiation poisoning. Poor fellas. |
