"Return to the Wall Market and go to the dead-end area near the parlor. (you'll see a bunch of kids run in there). Climb up the pipe, and you'll find yourself high above the town. If you haven't gotten them already, "
If you guys played this game before then you'll remember this part. I tried all the searches for walkthrough on the Internet and found this. THIS WAS IT! I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE THE KIDS ARE! SOMEHOW I DIDN'T SEE THEM AT ALL. NOW I'M STUCK AND CAN'T GO ANYWHERE. I asked my friend but he can't remember. I showed him a picture of the screenshot I took and he said he remembers there is a way to go up here but can't remember exactly where. He said he is positive sure that there is (I'm not sure about this) Maybe you guys can help me out. If you can please save the picture and circle the spot. I have also included the keys that I used in the game. I CANT EVEN SEE A PIPE DESCRIBE IN THE THE GUIDE! IT'S REALLY ANNOYING NOW.. http://www.freewebs.com/donkadelics/B.JPG http://www.freewebs.com/donkadelics/C.JPG "You need to climb that wire." I don't see any wire! (http://www.freewebs.com/donkadelics/B.JPG) that's the wall...where's the wire? |

Well, that is where you're supposed to go and how you're supposed to get there, but the pipe definitely isn't there.
Try going to the Weapon Shop and talking to the guy on the far left to buy some batteries, assuming you haven't already tried that. If that doesn't work or you've already done it, go over the walkthrough a few times and make sure that you've completely all of the necessary plot elements, which I believe include finishing up the Sector 7 business and then talking to Aeris's mother. Other than that, I got nothin'. -------------------- |

The wire only appears after you "find out" there's no way out of Sector Wherever-You're-In to the Upper Level. So try all the possible exits, THEN go back to Wall Market.

Did you buy the battery yet? That triggers it. You need to go into the Weapon's shop.
You may want to start following the CoN's walkthrough: http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/ff7/walkthrough.php It's very detailed and recent (and it mentions the battery, which would have helped you) -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

I bought the batteries already from the weapon shop.
I also talked to everyone in the Wall Market too. |

after you buy the batteries, go north to near where Cornero's mansion is. Press SELECT to see all possible exits. If you haven't triggered it, the kids will run offscreen to the right and you follow them. the wire is in the middle.
