I just remembered that there is a tent in the Imperial Camp that I have never been able to enter. While I still used my emulator, I noticed that there was a treasure chest in it.
The tent is in the furthest left, then upper most portion of the base, right beside where Sabin and Cyan enter the M-Tek Armor. The problem is, no matter when you try and enter it, either you say something and head back into the rest of the camp, or you're in those suits and too big to enter the tent. On top of that, after the camp sequence you can never enter the camp again. Am I missing something? Or can you actually go back into the camp after? -------------------- "Look at me! Before you fight Kefka that last time, go up north into that area with all the machinery, and go farther north until you reach a point where you can jump off into the area below.
Or something like that. I always get confused about how exactly to get there until I actually play through, but it was something like that... going into that area and jumping down to the tent and back up again. Maybe somebody else can help better than me. x.x -------------------- ~Status Report~ * Completed... Dragon's Head * Completed... Are you sure? I have never seen an area in the game that you can just "fall" off of unless it was in a movie sequence....

Well, it's some kind of little blank space on the edge of the plateau that you can hop on and off of... I'm not sure where it's at, I just know that it exists and it's the only way to get to the tent.
I think you fight a monster-in-a-box, Chaser, and win a Green Beret. -------------------- ~Status Report~ * Completed... Dragon's Head * Completed... Soldiers of the Empire: Disciples (release pending) * In Progress/Undecided... Of Love and Betrayal * Planning/Assembly... Where it all Began |

The chaser/green beret chest is in a different tent. I think you might be confusing the tent with the green beret with tent in question because the green beret tent can only be accessed by walking around before talking to kefka for the last time as you described. I've never heard about jumping/climbing at the imperial camp and my player's guide doesn't show any treasure in the far northwest tent. Do you remember visiting two distinct tents during the period before fighting Kefka?

I believe you can go back to that tent after you get the Magitek, and after you hop out of the magitek and you're ready to leave the camp. Not sure though.

Quote I believe you can go back to that tent after you get the Magitek, and after you hop out of the magitek and you're ready to leave the camp. Not sure though. No, that scene includes Sabin/Cyan and optionally Shadow leaving the Imperial Camp, and you cannot enter it from the Overworld Map again. It's not Chaser in the chest. Chaser doesn't appear until the Imperial MagiTek Research Facility. The monster meant here is Telstar. The tent in question is accessible and it contains a chest holding a Barrier Ring. It's accessible by jumping off the wall BEHIND the tent which is holding the MithrilGlove and the monster-in-a-box Telstar. You'll jump off and immediately enter the tent; after leaving, you'll automatically jump back up. -------------------- |

That wasn't in this sites walkthrough either.
