The Ultros, of course. Comical relief is king. It's a shame he wasn't used in the WoR...

Of main characters, my favorites were Edgar, Sabin and Cyan.

As I thought about my favourite character, I came really close to picking Kefka, since he probably has the most lines of text of anybody in the game. But I just have to choose Gau, because I was 13 when I first started playing this game, so I related to him the most. His ferocious fighting skills always lands him in my Final Four.

My favorite character is Gau. Me and him connect in a lot of ways, y'know? We look similar, we both fit in really well with nature, and both of us have evil fathers.

That's a good question.

I really like all characters.. except umaro... he's so... hairy...
But i love intercepter. He's so cute and very useful at the begin.

From the main characters i really like celes.
I love people with a dramatic and sadly story.

Edgar is also one of my favorites... i like his chainsaw *brrrrrrr* *gg*

I have bse (Bad Simple English)

I prefer Locke.. I always liked him.. I don't care about his strength.. Though he can become a powerhouse with 2 Boomerangs, Hawk Eyes, or Valiant Knife.

If I had a second favorite I'd choose Celes. Runic is a fun and interesting command. She was worth it in the final showdown and Locke's Steal Command was useful aswell.

Seeing as the first time i played this game i was a kid I'd have to say my favorite is Mog.... I never really got far in this game so its kinda wierd how its my favorite ff other then tactics.

My two favorite Playable characters are Edgar, for his slick, chainsaw-thwackin, flash-fighting action and Gogo, since he can use anybody's moves, and is a very flexible character.

My three favorite unplayable characters are:

Leo, since his avatar looks awesome and i like his colorful blade attack in Thamasa

Ziegfried, since he is like some awesome rogue gunman

and Gestahl, since he is super-powerful with merton and meteo and such. i also like his avatar too.

I adore Relm, she's cute, funny, artistic, and her outfit matches Strago's. XD

I also like Celes a lot, but that could've been because when I was little, my mom named all the characters after members of the family, and I was Celes. (in FFIV, I was Rydia) heh. As for NPCs, I like the moogles and the kids at Mobliz, because there's a massive quantity of them.

My favorite FFVI character would have to be Shadow. I liked his dialog and how he doesn't get involved in others problems.

My favorite characters are Relm, Celes, Terra, and Setzer, in that order.

Relm is just cute, and her theme sounds really peaceful.

Celes has a great storyline, and her romance with Locke is great.

Terra is just like Celes. Great storyline, and I liked how she didn’t ‘love’ anyone, except for the kids. That was interesting.

Setzer’s love with Darryl was great. And he’s a Gambler, pretty cool!

Without a doubt, General Leo is my favorite character. His shock ability is unrivaled. He's got a cool personality, like "Let's not kill too many enemies, they're people too." And he's got a kickass outfit.

Terra's affection for children scared me a bit.

Locke.

Locke is the the sly type, thief/treasure hunter. He's strong (actually, I don't know just how strong of a character he is, I just always max out his Vigor) and swift. He knows ho to get around, and, without trying to hit of Terra or Celes, he agrees to Protect them. Also, even after Rachel, having lost her memory, told him to leave, he still had a place for her in his heart; he never let her go, and did what he could to preserve her and keep her close, even in her death, and did what he could to revive her with the Phoenix.

Edgar, because his Tools are very useful. They do a lot of damage and the Noise Blaster is very useful for fighting strong enemies. (Just use it on a group of Pipsqueaks, have them cast Quarter on themselves, and watch the fun begin! )

Kefka is cool not only because he is evil, but because he is funny, too. Sephiroth, X-Death, or Ultimecia never had a sense of humor. Kefka has most of the memorable lines in the game, like the classic "self-help booklet" scene, or "Run! Run! Or you'll be well done!!"

Hi guys, I'm Spiffyness, I've been playing FFs FOREVER. I've been on this forum a while, actually, but I made my new account because all of my other accounts on forums and stuff are "Spiffyness" so... y'know.

My favorite characters are Locke and Terra. I mean, I absolutely LOVE these characters, they're my favorite characters out of any videogame or anything ever. Celes and Setzer come in close behind, but Locke is such a herioc character, with a great backstory and memorable personality, and Terra is... just TERRA! Uhhh... I heart Terra. Ummm.... yeah. ME IS TEH NEWNESS! w00t.

My ultimate favorite character used to be Gau, because I used to be a hyper little munchkin like him.
I still looove Gau, but hmm perhaps he isn't at the absolute top anymore. I can't choose a single favorite because I seriously like everyone.

Setzer.
He's cool and doesn't lose his faith in life although Daryl is gone. He's also a little like me in the sense that he can be obsessive (remember Maria?). Plus, he has the Blackjack.
Celes is my 2nd favourite.
Edgar is 3rd, maybe. I'm kinda grateful to him for his early contributions to the game's progress, plus he's never annoying and on the whole, a cool character.
Interceptor is cool too, and I agree that the Chauncellor of Figaro Castle rules; he certainly does deserve to be noticed

SABIN - He reminds me of Arnold!
LOCKE - He's got edge.
SHADOW - Who dosn't like a ninja?
SETZER - He's got his own airship.

Of the four I like Sabin the best because of his brute strength and attack rate when you give him the genji glove and the magic gem thingy.

However, I also got to give a tip of the hat to Strago, as he is a blue mage. (In case you couldn't guess from my name, I like blue mages.) See, the great thing about the blue mage is that he collects all sorts of widely varied, often powerful spells which no one else can get their hands on. He's got a spell for every situation!

Celes "betrays" the group, and then thy meet again at albrook, celes may ignore Locke, BUT SHE HAD A GOOD REASON FOR IT! and then she tries to talk to locke...AND HE TURNS AWAY!! How dare he! Also, he set Celes Aside to revive Rachel!

That's why i don't like him and why i beleive more in a Celes and Setzer relationship.

Hmmm... tough one.

First off, I like Celes. Alot. Her character is really interesting and she is a tragic figure in the storyline, and she is a well-rounded and effective combat character. Her romance with Locke is a little annoying, what with his obsession with Rachel, but it all works out.

Relm is very cute, and I have a feeling that if we zip ahead ten years later she'll turn out pretty darn cool.
