What was your favorite build for a character?

I, personally, loved my Monk/Ninja build.

Class: Monk
1st - Punch Art
2nd - Two Swords
3rd - Counter
4th - Transparency
5th - MoveHP Up

I-WAS-FRIKKIN-INVINCIBLE. Hands down, one of the best builds. Give it a try!

I'm anxious to see what you guys post. Weapons and accessories aren't necessary. Appreciated -- but not necessary.

Oh, and sorry if this has been done before. I plainly was not in the mood to search the forum. wacko.gif

...Just something about those mimes, that make them so cool.

Other than that, my build of choice is my Ramza build.

Class: Squire (Ramza)
1st - Guts
2nd - Summon
3rd - Hamedo
4th - Two Swords
5th - Move-HP Up

It's not uber powerful.. But, it's the most fun for me!

Vital involvement in the Final Fantasy IX section of CoN. Member of more than ten years. Second place in the Final Fantasy Music CoNtest, 2010-2011 Member of more than five years.
I go for the status effects and the evasion. My first oracle was named Junk so everytime I create an Oracle, I change his name to Junk as a tribute. Coincidentally, I also reduce the enemy to that. happy.gif

------------

Junk
Oracle

Octagon Rod (Status effect nullification plus 20% evade)
Aegis Shield (10% P-EV, 50% M-EV, +1 MA)
Thief Hat (HP + 100...already nulled Don't Act/Move)
Robe of Lords (HP +100, MP+80, Auto-Protect, Auto-Shell)
Chantage (Auto-Regen, Auto-Reraise)

Yin-Yang Magic (Base skillset; also my favorite generic)
Draw Out (Flexible skillset which is also based off of MA)
Abandon (Doubles your current P-EV, W-EV, and M-EV)
Equip Shield (Used for the Aegis Shield, which evades most magic with Abandon)
Ignore Height (Allows you to move anywhere within your movement range)

I don't really like female oracles, but the advantages of being a girl outweigh their in-game portrait (which is why I don't like them, actually).

I have a couple setups that I enjoy:

Ben (Ramza)
Squire
97 Brave, 80 Faith

Excalibur (Haste)
Aegis Shield (50% ME)
Thief Hat (+2 Speed, Immune Don't Move/Act)
Rubber Costume (Nice HP, Immune Lit.)
Feather Mantle (40% PE, 30% ME)

Guts
Math Skill
Blade Grasp
Magic Defend Up
Move +3

2ND setup:

Female Summoner
97 Brave, 70 Faith

Wizard Rod (+2 MA) Or Faith Rod (Depending on how good the MA is)
Thief Hat (same as above)
Robe of Lords (Pos. Statuses, attribute Bonuses)
Chantage (Immortality)

Summon
Draw Out
Blade Grasp

Short Charge (I prefer short charge to half MP 'cuz I can just restore MP)
Move +2

Ramza Beoulve
(Ninja)

Throw
Draw Out
Hamedo
Martial Arts
Walk on Water

I made Ramza the near-perfect fighter. Throw for those slightly out of reach and Draw Out for those even further out of reach (plus the support abilities are badass). I put on Martial Arts because....well, I like the damage it did (400 upwards). Hamedo is great, but it kinda sucks in fights vs. monsters. Plus, the fact that he's a ninja allowed him to double the pain! The Walk on Water...uhhh...I just kinda put it there..

Ramza (Level 99)
97 Brave 70 Faith
(Squire)

Guts
Draw Out
Abandon
Two Swords
Teleport

Chaos Blade (I got the Chaos Blades from the Ninja I didnt dupe them)
Chaos Blade
Genja Helmet
Genja Armor
Feather Mantle

This guy got both offense and defense. I do 680 damage with a Chaos Blade and I got 2 of them so its 2x the damage, then wiht the Feather Mantle and Abandom it is very hard to hit me 08% from the front 20% from the sides 40% with magic attacks. With "Draw Out" I can hit mulipty enemys and do no damage to my allys and then i can heal my allys and not heal the enemy. I also have Move +3 and change between Move +3 and Teleport i dont really know which one i like the best so i just change ever once in a while.
