GENKI III

Several of my friends from college made this movie a couple of months ago (the male main character was the president of the UVA Gamers' Club last year). It essentially is an unofficial "sequel" to the Japanese textbooks GENKI and GENKI II, using all sorts of wacky situation parody of the teaching instructions from those two books. I've never taken a Japanese course, but I've taken language courses before, so I laughed hard at this. Enjoy.
Edit
Some helpful clarifications:
-"What a beautiful sea!" is one of the phrases out of the vocab
- Most/All of the characters are from the conversations in the textbook
- The stuff about Takeshi going to the wrong place, cooking, dancing, etc are all the skits that students would practice reading to eachother in class
- 202 students have been through GENKI 1 and 2 textbooks so the premise is "what happened next to the characters in the book?"
- "Not right now you don't" (subs only) is a very terrible internet meme
- Tomomi Tomoko and Marshall Sato are combinations of the japanese professors' names
