Here's one everyone can weigh in on.

How long have you been playing the FF series and how many have you finished. Of course, if you started the series back in 1989 or something it doesn't count against you, but I'm curious how long it's taken all of us to get through as much of the series as we have. Include gaps if you want (like if you didn't start any FF games for 4 years or whatever).

Although I was psyched when FF1 was released on NES here in the US, I never got it. I started with FF7 in 1998, and since then I've completed ten FF's total (1 through 10 excluding FF3, and including FFX2). That makes about 1.7 per year (1.66666666666...), so every year since I've either played through one or two. In 2002 I played through FF6 and FFX, adding up to about 260 hours of gameplay. We'll just call that my year of FF dedication happy.gif .

I'm not sure how many peeps will be surprised at this, but I've just recently become a big FF fan.

I've known about FF since I was about 6. I watched my bros play it every once in a while (only FF6) but I'd never seriously played it. I played FF7 a little (Up to the Nibelheim Mansion), but forgot about it. Then, a little less than a year ago, I remembered how much I used to like watching my brothers play FF6, and I decided to hunt down the ROM. I got it, and played a bit of it on vacation.

After that, I was hooked.

I played about half-way through when I found CoN. I beat it for the first time about two months ago, and I just recently finished FF7. I'm very far in FF9, and I've played the beginnings of 1, 4, 5, and 8.

I started when FFVI came out on SNES as FF3, which I think was 1994 not sure though. After that I was hooked and starte playing the classics and been buying them everytime they come out since FF7 except FF11. Of all the games (including FFCC and FFTA) I have beaten all of them except FF11 and the early FF games on game boy like Game Boy Adventure etc. which I never played.
