Haven't taken many photos at all since I moved, because I no longer had a digital camera to use and film and developing are painfully expensive. But I snapped a roll a couple weekends back just because, and I finally got them back and put on DeviantArt last weekend. So, here you go, even though most of the people who might care have already seen them.
Tunnel: An interesting broken bridge, but the depth-of-field here isn't quite right. Moss on a Cross: A nice white Celtic cross with a nice deep green moss growing on it, but the depth-of-field is off the mark too. Al Cielo: A cool, human-size statue of an angel. I don't know where the "moustache" came from. Maybe could use some better cropping. Screw Not with God: I love this statue. It's atop a 30-foot pillar, making it hard to get a clean shot. But my comments at DA will explain more of my thoughts behind it. Roil 1: A waterfall closer to the head of the stream shown in Tunnel. It's small, but active, and pretty. Roil 2: Probably the best of the series, this is a closeup of part of the same waterfall. The activity of the water, the color balance, and the depth-of-field are all just right in this shot, to my pleasure and surprise. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

If the screw no with God statue had it's middle finger it'd be more famous than Lady Liberty herself. Those are some damn good pics.

Very nice. The Tunnel one is particularly nice. I like Water shots. I think you did a great job with capturing the light at that time of day for each one.
