I was wondering how many steps people have in their games? I just hit 200 000 yesterday.

One day I put in that Game Genie code for Super Sprint Shoes and ran around a town for about an hour to build up steps until Step Mine maxed out on damage.

In my current game I have 104,188 steps.
Newbie Question: Is there a particular reason / purpose in the game for counting steps? -------------------- |

Except for Step Mine attack, it doesn't have any purposes.
As Steps increases, Step Mine power and mp cost raise. telemosquito, what a funny name ![]() -------------------- «À l'aventure compagnons, je suis parti vers l'horizon! J'aurais mieux fait de rester au lit, ce donjon, il est pourri!» - Pen of Chaos |

Actually, the time you've played determines Step Mine's MP cost. Also, that's only the cost for you to cast it; monsters get to cast Step Mine for 1 MP.
So as for my step count, I pray it never goes above 300,000. I dunno what it is on my best game, but I hope it isn't that high up. Actually, I think it's 200000. Dunno for sure, too lazy to check. -------------------- |
