I've heard that on the floating continent, Shadow Shows when you have about 00:05 seconds left on the clock, but what happens if you get to the jumping spot after that, with like, one or two seconds left?

He still shows up. I think I tried that once, and he did. Not sure though... somoene else can give you a straighter answer. :-/

Then if you really wanted to know, how close would you have to be to the end to still get him? How far is too far?

If you pass 0:05 in the menu, Shadow won't show up, I've tried...

As I have posted before, if you pass the 5 second mark at the edge of the cliff with the "jump?" question displayed, he won't show up.

The screen will flash black, then show you where you were standing with the camera on you, white flashes and red flashes all around and in a crappy attempt of making the island looking like it's falling down, the camera is moving up.
Then you get a Game Over. If you wait long enough, you'll eventually have to go to the bathroom. You go to the bathroom. -------------------- |
