A Fanart sketch that I did of Edward Scissorhands—one of my favourite movie characters from one of my favourite movies of all time. I used my recent quick, sketchy style to compliment Edward's own feeling of incompleteness.

Why am i not surprised that you liked Edward Scissorhands?
Excellent drawing, as all your sketches and drawings are. You seemed to have gotten what you wanted according to your comment below the pic: the fact he (Scissorhands) isn't finished is clear to see. Not surprised that I liked Edward Scissorhands? What tipped you off?
Anyway, thanks for the positive feedback. I think that I may draw another Burton character next, perhaps Jack or the Mayor from "The Nightmare Before Christmas." -------------------- Je ne t'aime plus, Mon amour... Je ne t'aime plus, Tous les jours... |

That's very nice. I get the impression that it's what Edward Scissorhands looks like in Burton's head, before he had to get actors to portray him. Very well done.

Wow, The Ancient, that's quite a compliment.... I am truly flattered. Also, if anyone here has a devART account, comments there would be ever so appreciated. -------------------- Je ne t'aime plus, Mon amour... Je ne t'aime plus, Tous les jours... |

Wow. That's exactly what I'd expect to see if there was ever an Edward Scissorhands cartoon. I think you captured Edward's own feeling of incompleteness perfectly.

You can draw like that, yet you spend time recoloring sprites?

Hey now, Dark Paladin, I never just "recoloured" sprites. All of my sprite artwork was made from the fusion and then recolouring of multiple in-game sprites from any give squaresoft game.
I just didn't have access to a scanner previously, but now I do. If you are interested in seeing some more of my art (I have a recently submitted image and then 2 scrap book additions), here are the links: The Count (Original Unnamed Character) Gustav (Original Character Idea) Anton (Original Character Face Sketch) -------------------- Je ne t'aime plus, Mon amour... I am glad that my work is able to both interest you and be good at the same time, GamblingCat.
I would greatly appreciate it if I could get some specific comments regarding each piece, as I am curious as to what exactly people enjoy about them (a few have made nice, insightful comments, but as for the rest it is a bit nice to get something a little more in-depth than "very good! I like!") If no one can get around to viewing them, no biggie. I'll still be your friend.... only an angry, grudge-holding friend who is just waiting for you to put your guard down. -------------------- Je ne t'aime plus, Mon amour...
