I put Amarant simply becuz him and Vivi are closely tied, but I immediately assumed that Vivi would get the majority of votes cuz he just kicks it. So I voted Amarant cuz I thought he would probably have little or no votes at all.

Steiner all the way! Look, yeah he's annoying for the first part of the game, but he does SO much damage in battle (specially with Sword Magics with Vivi). I find his sense of loyalty and duty to be admirable, even if they are a bit TOO strong in him. Also, how can you not love a guy who makes his own unique sound when running around?

I went with Zidane, mostly because of that scene after Garland tortures him to near death and he just snaps and goes off to fight alone. Plus the music in that part is the best in the game. Freya was a close second just cause I love a good dragoon knight.

Vivi, no question about it. I my opinion Vivi is the best character Square ever created. From the first scene to the last in the ending you can't help but love the mage. I felt more for this character than I have in any other game period.

Eiko, consider me weird but she had some interesting lines in FFIX, and the part on how she likes Zidane had me laffing, hard. A funny character.

I agree Eiko did come pretty close to a fav, out of the girls she tied with freya (Yeah! A chick that cab actually do damage!) But her summons were really useful, and her fondness for Zidane had me laughing.

i voted for Zidane he is pretty cool except for his stupid hips they make him look like a girl

I also would have picked Vivi or Zidane, because they were cool characters. It was a hard decision to make on a favorite character in FFIX.

Although I liked the game, I thought the individual characters sucked. I don't like male characters anyway, and there were three females, ugly rat thing, little horny kid, and typical final fantasy playstation female. Seriously, is there any real difference between Tifa, Rinoa, Granet, and Yuna other than wardrobe?

Mine was a tossup between Zidane and ViVi, it has been an extraordinarilly long time since I've played FFIX, but I loved Zidane's weapons.

I swear I posted here before...
Anyway Vivi, as you see. He was the coolest Black mage ever, but I felt sorry for him, specially at the Black Mage Village, he was so confused. Freya is second, and at first glimse I thought she was a he, but that's straight now. she was so cool and had probably my FAVORITE character theme ever, suits her to a pin (Is that an expresion?). And I must recodnize Docter tot (Represent!). He looked unbelievably unreasonable, but so wise and giving at the same time... -------------------- "We're not tools of the government or anyone else. My favorite character would have to be Vivi as well. I love the emotion they put into him, I could feel myself into his character even. It was pretty amazing, plus his plot was awesome.
