Quote (Fadien @ 26th June 2004 00:47) Quote (Wind God Gau @ 25th June 2004 17:48) He doesnt. Ness MUST fight alone, as that fight takes place within the Sound Stone Dream. Incorrect, the battle takes place after you eat the magic cake in Summers, and Poo comes to join the group. The sea captain then will take you across the sea to Scarab. Hmmmmm.... I played it recently... I can't remember now.... He throws a shoe, or a compass, or something at him. He says he contributed after the battle, but it escapes me exactly WHAT he said he threw. Ah, but you DO fight it with Ness alone. You never specified WHICH battle with it... and there are 4. = ![]() -------------------- Uwao. aooh! I'm Gau! I'm your friend! Let's travel together! |

Well, since it's been two days, the answer is the Main Hero's son. Durring the course of the game, you choose a woman to marry, and have twins, boy and a girl. Fight like crazy, and use the Seeds of Mana. HOWEVER- It WILL be hard as hell.
Edit How'dya do the third one? I cant even get ONE of those freaky dudes dead. The first one is easy though... just pick one, and follow him VERY carefully. If Norstean asks for him, you got it. If e doesnt, 50/50 chance. This post has been edited by Wind God Gau on 5th July 2004 01:27 -------------------- Uwao. aooh! I'm Gau! I'm your friend! Let's travel together! |

No- Due to confusion i shall elaborate. SOM- means Secret of Mana. As you had the last question i don't think you're allowed to answer though.

IIRC, in Secret of Mana (I wish people would type out the name, because half of them have the initals SOM) you can obtain the highest level sword, by fighting monsters in the Fortress of Mana. Rarely, they will drop weapon orbs, which you can use to forage your weapon to a new level. IIRC again, sword can be foraged to level 9.... but I may be wrong.

There is one way i think... It's not that. If it can be done that way then i'm sorry, i was looking for a specific way.

I've heard it DOES drop. I've never seen it personally drop... But I have heard it can. Some people say it is possible, some say it isn't.
I know all other weapon orbs do drop up there, and can be raised to level 9, which I've got atleast half of them..... You must be talking about the Glitch to fight the Mantis Ant again then, right?
