A newer, nicer version of my little character, Hector. I would greatly appreciate if you would post comments on devART as well as CoN if you could.
Note to Rangers51: Heh, sorry about not responding to your comment on devART, as I really haven't even had the time to look through my comments there yet. I will get to it as soon as possible. I really like the way this picture turned out (a lot better than the previous one). He is in a similar pose, though with different hair and clothing. Tell me what you think! I love it..... very Tim Burton-ish. The hair and eyes are what strike me first, but the body and clothes match it perfectly. Wonderfully done.

Thank you, everyone, for commenting on my drawing (yes, even you, Malevolence, for comparing your physical strength to that of a cartoon figure as though a comparison between flesh & blood and ink & paper would reinforce your masculinity—I got quite a chuckle out your comment).
Hamedo, I agree that it is Tim Burtonish, now that I think of it. I actually just recently watched Edward Scissorhands (one of my all-time favorite movies) so perhaps that influenced my work a bit. Once again, thanks for the positive feedback. Any more commentary would be appreciated (and, again, you may also post comments on devART, as I check that more often. Now, hopefully I will become a bit more active on these boards again and not find myself as merely a forgotten personality, my name a faint whisper rarely heard within the catacombs of your memories. -------------------- Je ne t'aime plus, Mon amour... Thanks, I suppose, |)arkShadow. I wasn't really aiming for the whole "very funny" reaction, but I guess that it'll do.

Heh.nice. It really does look like Edward Scissor hands. Very nice, cartoonish though. I don't know what you were aiming for.

Although I realize that you weren't aiming for 'funny' on this, I'm going to say the same thing. It's a very cartoonish drawing, and with the character being a bit Captain Jack Sparrow-ish, it's a funny image. But don't take that as an insult; think of it as an...unexpected angle of compliments
