Like that I had said before, that I had recently played the whole way through the FF6 PSOne version (Final Fantasy Anthology) and that I notice a few things about the game that puzzle me somewhat, and also a couple others that I had discovered since, too. 1) it may have been from the beginning a sort of bad translation bit on Ted Woolsey's part, but that I notice that it indicates with the text in FF5 that Enuo was some major big boss enemy that had once ruled over the N-Zone in the past that it took the 12 legendary sealed weapons to stop, defeat, and destroy him; yet, in FF6, that even after all of that that Enuo turns out to be some sort of easy-to-defeat slime creature down in the cave to the Ancient Castle; could someone else please better explain that one to me, and that this shows proof of him - http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/ff6/enemies.p...Lim=50;UpLim=25? 2) it was sort of recently discussed that the only way to get both types of Mag Roaders to show up along that mine cart ride in Vector that you definitely need Sabin to lead the party, not Edgar or Locke, and in the FF6 PSOne version that it seems more like a random encounter sort of thing (which that it should be); I'll play test the original Snes version after a little bit to see if that it's that sort of thing for that version of the game, too.
3) during part of Terra's way out of Narshe at the beginning of the game, that they're indicating with the text in FF6 that it's the Imperial Soldiers that are after her, even though that it's the Narshe guards that are after her (from the point of Terra waking up in Arvis' house to the point where that Mog says that it's the leader of the guards and his men that Locke needs to defeat to save Terra); I hope that others are noticing this and including the rom hackers noticing it as well and/or correcting it (i90east and Rubicant, too), and that I also hope that the real FF6 Snes version being translated the rest of the way from Japanese into English by Sky Render: http://www.rpgone.net/ that they'll finally be able to better explain that part of the game? 4) as extra, that I noticed a general cool attack by an enemy: when that Fortis: http://www.cavesofnarshe.com/ff6/enemies.p...Lim=75;UpLim=25 from Kefka's Tower back attacks after being hit by a spell like Bolt2 that he back attacks with Double Arm, and that it turns out to be like Megaman X's Dual Buster from Megaman X2 and Megaman X3. 5) as extra, that I noticed that some of the bosses in the World of Ruin, example: Dirt Dragon from the Opera House and one of the eight dragons, seem to be weak to Poison, since that when that it's used on them that it seems to keep climbing higher and higher in damage points; so, that's why that I now start bringing Edgar and his Bio Blaster with my party to fight against the bosses in the World of Ruin. >Danny< This post has been edited by Daniel on 26th September 2010 05:26 |

Comment on 5):
When any poisonable enemy/character is poisoned, the poison status does more and more damage each time, regardless of weakness to poison. I think the maximum it can do at once is 255 HP. Edit: added the following: Comment on 1): That's evidence that each Final Fantasy game is separate in story and context. Now does anyone know what the name "Enuo" comes from? Comment on 2): I've heard that what Mag Roaders appear depends on who's in your party. However, I don't know what party formations trigger which enemy formations. Any information, my fellow Narsheites? Comment on 3):
I believe that it really was the Narshians that were after her. Think about it. 1. The Empire had just attacked Narshe for the Esper, and so the Narshians might want to get the girl (Terra) hostage and ransom her off to the Empire, or to capture her and give her to the Empire to curry their favor. 2. Why would Imerial troops have dogs with them? If you'll recall, there were dogs with the guards, and since some of the Narshe guards that you fought in the beginning had Lobos with them, it's safe to assume that the dogs outside Arvis' house were Lobos too. So therefore, I think they were Narshe guards. 3. When Locke and the Moogles fought in the cavern, the enemies (save for the green-clad guard at the bottom) were Narshe mosters. You'd think they might be Imperial troops, not Narshe monsters, if they were led by an Imperial commander. -------------------- Wow. 1,000 posts. I miss you all now that I'm in boarding school! ;_; |

^You're right. 100% no doubt at all.
I can't believe someone would actually get confused on that point. I got it even when I was 10 years old. -------------------- "Nothing can beat the music of hundreds of voices screaming in unison!" - Kefka |

5 --> Poison damage climbs every turn, that's correct. Poison damage is poison-elemental, meaning that there are cases that Poison will do twice as much damage as you'd expect (Dirt Drgn isn't one of them) while it's also possible to have a character take 0 damage every turn (poison nullify will block the poison status automatically, equipping the Paladin Shield mid-battle will have this effect). 255 is NOT the highest amount of damage one can receive, but the highest number depends on a nasty formula that's to hard to remember.
2 --> What can I say? I've proved before that the monsters appearing here are dependant of the status your party is in, not on any randomization like with random encounters. Whether or not this has to do with the lead character is something I don't know. Possible. This post has been edited by Djibriel on 18th June 2004 22:05 -------------------- |

All of you, remember this from now on beforehand, that it was that first one that I was wondering about, and that the other four that I was simply checking on those ones and/or talking generally about them. >Danny<
