I'll go for a humble top three:
1- Aeris Gainsborough: Not sure why... There's just something great about her character. She'd be a ridiculously nice person in reality and I do like ridiculously nice people lol. 2- Aki Ross: What!? FF: The Spirit Within!? From LEFT FIELD! Anyhow, i don't remember this demanding games only, so yeah. I liked Aki. True, she had a penchant for being a tad too melodramatic, but she's damned smart, damned stubborn, would be attractive in reality (though the movie isn't that far off) and she's got guts for a scientist. 3- Erm... Uh... Rikku: Her last name escapes me... meh. I love Rikku in the FFX games. She's so bubbly and cheery and has cool outfits. Plus she's got badass agility and I do so enjoy my fast characters. -------------------- Games on the Go Final Fantasy VII Final Fantasy: Four Warriors of Light Baldur's Gate Too much to play, so little time! FF2-Leila('cuz she's a pirate)
FF4-Rydia! FF5-Faris, another pirate! FF6-Celes, she's so cool FF7-Aeris, she's so mystic yet innocent FF8-Quistis, I guess. FF9-Eiko, somewhat like Aeris, but Freya comes close FF10-Lulu, 'cuz she's a Black Mage FFT-Agrias, her Holy Sword ability has saved by butt many a times. FFTA-Ritz, she's the only main character who's a female, but Shara's cool, too. FFMQ-um, there are girls in this? Anyways, I never got that far in this game. FFX-2-Paine, why not? CT-Marle 'cuz she can use Ice magic, my favorite element CC-Kid, 'cuz her Austrailian accent, buggers Wow, this list is long... FF IV - Rydia - the helpless waif turns in to a black magic badass, plus Edge has the hots for her.
FF V - Lenna - meh; I didn't like this game for the characters or story. FF VI - Celes - her development from unfeeling soldier to determined emotional heroine is impressive. FF VII - Tifa - The most honest of the three lady characters, plus she has a nice firm pair of hands, *wink FF VIII - Quistis - I really didn't like rinoa or selphie FF IX - Beatrix - super strong physically and emotionally. FF X - Lulu - cool and calm to an extreme, plus her neckline is way below see-level. FF Tactics - Reis - a damsel in distress who rocks all over the place. If you teach her calculator skills she's the best character in the game. Overall - probably Beatrix. FF IX is my second favorite FF game, and she was a powerful fighter and a likeable character. Plus, she made for two very difficult battles early in the game. Lulu and Rydia are runners-up. EDIT: If we're doing favorite RPGs in general, then what the hey? Skies of Arcadia: Aika. The best female tomboy cliche character ever. CT: Marle. Class, sass, and a pretty nice face, *nudge CC: Riddel. The whole Riddel/Dario/Karsh/Glenn sideplot was interesting. Legend of Dragoon: Rose. First place has to go to Aeris. She's such a nice character, always tries to make people feel good about themselves and tries to find a positive side to every situation. That's brilliant in a personality.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view and the amount of people that cried because of her death? I'm upset even now, just thinking about it! If a character can bring such emotion, they have to be something special, come on, how can anyone deny that? other female characters I liked: Elena: because she's a turk, which demands respect and like all them, she makes me laugh. yuffie was kinda cool. I really like Rikku from X and X-2 but I like Rhinoa from VIII alot too.

FF1 - White mage, do I even get a choice?
FF2 - Yeah, whatever, never play this game. It sucks that bad. FF3 - All of them were pretty good. Though I think that chick that takes the arrow for the heroes is awesome just because that arrow travels at the speed of molasses on a cold day. And she stands there and waits for it... FF4 - Rydia - Hot, stylish and talented. FF5 - le sigh FF6 - All three of the female leads have strong personalities that are likeable. Tina for being a lost little soul trying to find who she is and what she should do in the world. Celes for trying to be a hardass in the beginning and then slowly showing that she really is a woman, and then Relm for being a brat.  FF7 - I actually loathed the females in this game. But most of all I loathed Yuffie for that god damn silly grin she had on the character portrait. Tifa because I'm not a fanboy and wasn't impressed by her having a massive rack, and her being scantily clad in a sluttish way. And Aeris because she didn't even have to try to give off the impression that she was actually trailer park white trash. And a slut. It was really painful to see the girls in this particular installment. That's all. -------------------- Now the story's played out like this. Just like a paperback novel. Let's rewrite an ending that fits. |

Final Fantasy IV: Rydia, cause she went from child to a hot teen (or whatever age she jumped to). Kind of like Lindsay Lohan, pre-weight loss phase.
Final Fantasy VI: Celes, I don't know, I just like her personality. Final Fantasy VII: Tifa, I think she is the hottest Final Fantasy girl. Plus, her character portrait in the menu reminds me of Jennifer Love Hewitt for some reason. Possible spoilers: highlight to view Personally, I HATED Aeris. Always have. I was glad to see her go. Final Fantasy VIII: Rinoa, just because I have a thing for brunettes. Final Fantasy IX: Freya, cause I'd love to try something new. Final Fantasy X: Rikku, because she seems perky all the time.
