Allright Every time I save a file on my ff3 game, it's gone an hour later. I'm wondering if it's doing this because I edited the rom or if it's my emulator?

On most emulators, reloading a saved state also overwrites the SRAM.
Either use saved states or just keep in mind that reloading a saved state will also reload your SRAM in most cases, and that it could lead to losing a saved game. Of course, since you've provided 0 details on what you're using as an emulator and so forth, there's hardly anyone can do for you other than give general advice. ![]() -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

im using snes9x on a mac, but I do the editing on a virtual pc. I figured out the problem. Every time I edit a rom and save it, it develops bad check sum, any way to avoid ruining the checksum when editing?
