Some of the corrections I made are corrections where you posted the original descriptions from within the game. They will be listed separately, so it’s up to you to decide whether or not you want to change them.
Cards, Darts, Trump, Doom Darts, Dice and Fixed Dice: Same damage from the back row. Dice: Follows a special formula not unlike that of the Fixed Dice. I assume that you have permission to post Terii Senshi’s work (since the Fixed Dice formula is), so here it is: (damage = Dice Roll 1 * Dice Roll 2 * Level * 2) Tempest: Randomly casts Wind Slash instead of physical strike (thus noting the difference between the Tempest and other weapons such as the Fire Rod) Hawk Eye: ‘Randomly inflicts mortal blow’ should be ‘Randomly thrown for three times the damage at floating targets, randomly does 1.5 times the damage at non-floating targets (no visual effects). The Sniper: ‘Randomly thrown for three times the damage at floating targets, randomly does 1.5 times the damage at non-floating targets (no visual effects). (In other words: Same effect as the Hawk Eye) Wind Edge: ‘Randomly inflicts mortal blow’ should be ‘Randomly dispatches enemy’, because that’s more accurate. Lose Shadow and Gogo as equippers for the various Shuriken. They just have the ‘Throw’ command, and can’t equip them. Thiefknife: Randomly uses Capture instead of Fight Imp Halbard: Only adds Battle Power to wearer if wearer is affected by ‘Imp’ status. The Air Anchor hits only a single target, not all. For the Bio Blaster and Flash: you say they ‘potentially’ resp. poison and blind the enemy. They always do this is possible, so you might want to nix the ‘potentially’ here. NoiseBlaster always confuses enemies if possible. About the same story. Cursed Ring: Only sets ‘Count’ on the wearer, and does not set ‘various’ bad status effects. Rage Ring: Nix the fact that he could use his Tackle attack when equipped with it. The Tackle is inherent to Umaro, not to the Rage Ring. The Rage Ring only allows the throwing of party members. Tintinabar: Recovers much more then a single HP per step: HP gained per step = Stamina / 4 Base stamina, not modified by equipment, is used to determine how much HP. As with the Dice, credit goes to Terii. Ask him if you want to put this up. Oh yeah, and in the Rare Item Section you imply that various dummied key items (Autograph, etc. ) cannot be found in the US Version and CAN be found in the original one. Not true (confirmed by Sky Render). -------------------- |

Again, while we appreciate comments such as these, we need a valid source. We in the staff don't depend on our memories of the game, no matter how much each of us has played the game and how good our memories are.
Please, if you have a source, provide the link, or at least tell us how you know these things. Did you go in the game and check, after you noticed on the site? Did you see it in a walkthrough? Is it in a guide? -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

I can 100 % guarantee the fact that these corrections are true. They come from several sources (mainly Terii's page at RPGLegion.com) and have been confirmed by me. I myself have hacked into the game. These things don't come directly frome experience: these things come from Rom hackers who have taken the info directly from the Rom, and have been confirmed by me both in the Rom and in the game over and over again.

Good enough for me. We'll look at updating the pages but it might not be done immediately. Usual excuses: busy lives and other CoN work to attend to.
Thanks for pointing them out. |
