I think it was pointless because if they wanted to kill someone they should have kept them dead! It was just too cheesy for me! Mmmmm cheese

I don't really follow what you're saying.

If by "Back to Life" you mean Tellah coming back-in FF4- or something like that. They didn't "Come Back" it was his spirit.

Tellah remains dead, it's his spirit that helps you out. Palom and Porom are freed by thier Master. Yang we discovered never died either but was saved by the Sylphs. Most of this is found out by the time the giant attacks, so it's not really the ending. I guess it's cheesy, just seemed normal to me when I first saw it happening 10+ years ago.

I think what happened just simply makes sense. At least it made Rydia happy, since not as many people died as she thought did.

No one was resurrected. They were all either near-dead or Tellah. And he stayed dead.

I just don't like the fact that they come back at all, they bassically were dead apart from yang who was saved by sylphs.

No, aside from the twins (And our dead friend Tellah.) they were all Near-Death. Including Yang. Edward was saved by the nursing of Toroia, Cid was saved by the nursing of Giott's Kingdom, and Yang was saved by the nursing of the Sylphs. The twins were returned normal by the Elder. There's almost no difference aside from different kingdoms and or people healing them.
