You used Shark or Something. In FFX The highest Hp you can have is 9999. Its impossible to have that much Hp if you didnt use Shark.

Sorry to break this to you, but yeah: you can go above 9999 in FFX. Though getting the ability that grants it can take a LOT of hunting around for items. Or bribing, as the case would usually be. -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

And it's not really worth it, because anything that can do that kind of damage when you've put any effort at all into your defense can kill you in one hit no matter how high your HP goes. -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |

Psssh! I can top that - and I've only been playing about 1/2 the time you were when you first made those shots. = P
I can't back it up though... = ( FFX was my favorite from the series. The only thing I didn't get E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. from was Blitz - but I played it a LOT - even after I got Wakka's ODs. I think I reset the data and played again too - but not long after I got XII and now I'm back on X again. I lived in the states, so I decided to import a copy of X: International. Right now I'm at the end of the game capturing fiends, but I will rival those old states soon. ![]() -------------------- 'As the Sun touches the ocean - I know it touches you. That much stat boosting in FFX just seems... silly, to me. There's not really any payoff, unless I'm missing something.
Though, on the subject of hours spent on a single game, I was planning on posting my hours logged into a MUD, but then my friend one-upped me: ![]() lol @ puny 3 digit numbers. -------------------- With the lights out It's less dangerous |

Good job , nice to see im not the only one who likes FFX
Just to note that you dont need that much hp to beat everything in the game in fact i found it easier to beat Pennance without BHPL then it was with break hp limit. What are your thoughts on Pennance? -------------------- Finished NSG FFX, Playing FFIV again. |

I just came across this thread on google when was searching for something else, decided to sign up just so i could reply to this thread so someone better bloody read it
![]() Right the American version doesnt contain Dark Aeons. They are very strong aeons you can seek out and beat. Like for example Dark Anima health is Dark Anima HP: 8,000,000 and there are more stronger. They have huge attacking power and to defeat even the weakest Dark Valefor (HP: 800,000) you need to have done pretty well maxing your characters out. I ve defeated 4 of them so far, i havent played in a few years now though(that game)I ve played from the start to end(story) 7 times, FFX is my favourite game, i only havent finished the dark aeons off because it will still take alot of leveling up. Nearly all my characters have 99 999 HP and deal out 99 999 damage per attack but the dark aeons are very tough and i havent got decent enough armour at the moment to beat Dark Bahamut or Yojimbo. You need to collect tons of dark matter to upgrade your weapons and shields and its random to pick up even a few bits in a battle and the fiends you need to beat to get them is one of the strongest in the calm lands dungeon thing and being random you could defeat many and not get any dark matter ![]() I decided to play through again rather than carry on with it. |
