Did you know that the Imp Halibard is more damaging (as an imp) with the offering and genji glove than the illimuna is?
Why don't people use the imp? -------------------- "Look at me! I'm a receptionist! G'fa ha ha!" Quote Ultros |

So are we supposed to be answering the question in the topic or in the poll? The poll has been done to death in these forums already, I think.

Not sure how you are testing the Imp Halberd, but your results and conclusion are incorrect.
Imp Halberd 1 BP (253 when an IMP) 0 MB% Illumina +7 Stamina +7 Vigor +7 Speed +7 Magic Power 255 BP 50 MB% SDBR MPTurbo Never Misses Randomly casts Pearl (this is disabled when used with the Offering) Not much of a comparison. Not even close. The Imp Halberd should almost never do more damage than the Illumina. Im not positive, but I think that even when the randomizing function rolls the lowest for the illumina and the highest for the Imp Halberd, the Illumina still does more damage. |

I think I compared the stats with people of varying battle power to begin with, making the Imp weapon seem stronger.
What does 50 MB%, SDBR, and Magic Turbo mean? -------------------- "Look at me! I'm a receptionist! G'fa ha ha!" Quote Ultros |

Quote (SuperManBoy @ 21st May 2004 12:45) I think I compared the stats with people of varying battle power to begin with, making the Imp weapon seem stronger. What does 50 MB%, SDBR, and Magic Turbo mean? 50 MB% = 50% Magic Block, which equates to about 39% less hits from magic and physical attacks. Making this the ultimate defensive item in the game as well as the ultimate offensive weapon. SDBR=Same Damage Back Row MPTurbo=The weapon consumes a small amount of MP to do a critical hit each hit. So if you have sufficient MP, you will do a critical hit (x2 dam) each hit. |
