Name: Riona
Image: http://www.deviantart.com/view/9670053/ e-mail: [email protected] media: fabric, sewing machine, camera, Photoshop Something a little different; this is me cosplaying as Celes. I editted the picture to look 19th century. I also attempted to make my hair look lighter, but couldn't lighten it much more without making it look odd. I made this costume out of home decorating fabric and other random items. It took about a week to make. |

Heh. These pictures have me in it exactly 0 times, but cosplay is always fun to look at.
(Links Removed) Moderator Edit Djibriel, I'm sure you didn't mean any harm, but this is a site submission thread that Riona made for her cosplay of Celes. It's not to show off cosplay images that you found on the internet. I'm removing them because it draws attention away from the submission. - Elena99 This post has been edited by Elena99 on 2nd December 2004 17:34 -------------------- |

I think the photo itself looks good. I'm not sure how quickly I'd recognize you as Celes, though. Maybe if you had a sword somewhere on you?
You might be able to lighten your hair further by selecting the hair and adjusting the brightness, or adding yellow. It's in the colour modes. -------------------- I had an old signature. Now I've changed it. |

Not to offend you or anything, but imo it doesn't look much like Celes. And I don't like the Amano Celes drawing design... Why not use the sprite version design..?
But anyways, you can do better next time |

I went with the Amano version rather than the sprite for several reasons. One, I love Amano pictures. Two, it looked like it would be more flattering than the sprite version-- I can't see myself walking around in a leotard with no pants lol. Three, it was cheaper since I already had the materials around the house. That fabric was left over from a Medieval gown.
I just realized that it may be harder to identify without the colors. Here's how it looks without the sepia effect: http://www.deviantart.com/view/12840215/ http://www.deviantart.com/view/12840274/ (note: the coloring is a little off in these-- it looks more blue-based than it really is). I'm open to any suggestions about improving this, especially since it was quick and low-budget. |

I don't intend to offend you, but that doesn't look like Celes. Then again, I prefer the in-game design over the artworks...
