Here's the catch. I've been composing a weapon list of FF VI, but it's not a weapon list that will give you the stats of it: it's a weapon list which indicates the context of the weapon within the Final Fantasy games anu our world.

Where does the "Help" part come in, you ask? Here: I am a poor, poor man. I don't own a Playstation and have never played PlaystationuFinal Fantasy games other then FF VIII. To fully chart the weapons, I need to know if they're around in later Final Fantasyugames.

Obviously, I could just look at weapon l}sts on the net, but that wouldn't g}ve me any info on where the weapon is placed in the game, etc.

So what I want to ask you: if you're an experienced player of later Final Fantasy games (if you're all-round player of all, that's great, if you're just experienced in a no. VII or another one, don't hesitate) and you're willing to help me out (if you have any data on Japanese translations of the weapons, then you'd make me even more happy), post something here or send me a Personal Message to let me know.

I don't care if you can buy them in a store. Weapons like the Falchion are only listed here because they carry the name of an actual sword.

If they are one of a kind in the game, tell me.
If they are won from a boss, tell me. Give the name of the boss if you can.
If they are stolen from a boss, same story.
If you can take them from a chest in the game, and there's something special to say about the location of the chest (final dungeon, or a relation between the weapon and the location), tell me.
If there is a special scene involving the weapon or a special tie between a certain character and a weapon (with Sephiroth's Masamune as a good example), then tell me.
In short, if there's anything even remotely interesting to tell me about the weapon, tell me.

Pay specific attention to the Japanese words. I understand that you're not likely to encounter a Sagojou's Spear out there, but some weapons (with the Forged/Kikuichimonji as a good example) have spread their glory trough their Japanese name. Same goes for the obvious such as the Masamune and the Zantetsuken (as used as Odin's attack).
