I was just really bored today so I decided to do something counterproductive and make an animated gif file.
It isn't the best, but it ate up a good 10 minutes of my time. EDIT: LINK FIXED! If the image doesn't work, here is a link to it. This post has been edited by Stephen the Third on 3rd May 2004 23:36 -------------------- Je ne t'aime plus, Mon amour... Je ne t'aime plus, Tous les jours... |

403 on the link. Do you have some sort of image-stealing script installed?
Anyway, I worked around it and it looks pretty good. It only shows the scene where the continent is ripped asunder as seen from space, is there more to it? I've seen it done in flash before, but never as a gif. Looks good. I can't discover, however, trough which part of the World Map this initial rift runs. I can't make out a specific place in the .gif file that I can link to Jidoor or Thamasha or something like that.
Anybody out there who can? -------------------- |

I also have one of Celes throwing herself off the cliff on solitary island. It is, however, too large for me to upload on my current server (it is 300+ kb... lots of frames).

I have to say, Stephen, you are one fantastic gif maker.
Now then for all of you who tries to view this gif, and it won't work for you, then just click on the link, and I know sometimes it won't work. But I've known how to make gifs and sprites, pictures, and other stuff appear when they have that little annoying red X box at the corner of some displays, and mananged to be viewable. There's a secret I have for those that can't view images properly. And I may get nabbed for this. But if you want to view something when it's not being shown, right click on the box with that red x on the corner, go down to Properties, click on that, then it'll show you a location where the sprite/gif/pic is, highlight and copy that and then paste the location on your nav bar on the top of your sceen, and hopefully you all know what I mean by nav bar lol. Then press the enter key, (or if you others prefer the return key on your keyboards) and then it should show you what the picture, sprite, gif, anything like that is. Hope I haven't crossed the line and had gotten into trouble, but I just wanted to help those people out there who don't know what to do. -------------------- Can you not see what you have done?! You made the world go into a rage that has just begun! |

It's pretty cool, but I wish there were more to it than just the rift being caused. Very interesting to see as a gif though. I want to see the part at the end of the WoB when one of the places' get torn apart and people get pulled away as the land splits. That'd be nice to see as an animated gif.
