Errr, I'm gonna guess on this one.

It's the Chicken Knife, which is in the forest after taking a hidden path. dry.gif

I'm sorry, but that's incorrect. thumbdown.gif

That's so the Guardian in the barrel. I mean, it's almost painfull to behold simply how much that the Guardian in the barrel is.

Haha. That is precisely the correct answer. I mean, I even have those exact words on my answer key. I also would've accept "Hunting Knife", since I guess that's another name for it.

All yours, Djibriel! thumbup.gif

Hardened Dagger - Knife
Assassin Dagger - Knife
Excalibur - Sword
Holy Spear - Lance
Rune Axe - Axe/Hammer
Masamune - Katana
Sage Staff - Staff
Yoichi Bow - Bow
Apollo Harp - Harp
Wizard Rod - Rod
Flame Whip - Whip
Earth Bell - Bell

Behold the twelve legendary weapons! What I want you to do is point out which weapons DON'T have a more powerful 'sister' in their class (as in: a stronger Axe, a stronger Sword, etc.). I will only accept full answers.

Let's see here...

Hardened Dagger/Sasuke's Katana: Hmm...does the Chicken Knife count?
Assassin Dagger: The above Hardened Dagger is more powerful, but not by much.
Excalibur: I believe the Ragnarok is stronger, but I haven't gotten it yet.
Holy Spear: Dragoon Lance is stronger.
Rune Axe: Beaten by Thor's Hammer.
Masamune: The rare Tempest Sword is stronger.
Sage Staff: Equal to the Judge Staff, as I recall...but you didn't ask for equals.
Yoichi Bow: Artemis' Bow has more power.
Apollo Harp: The best, hands down. It's the only harp that doesn't deal Demi-like damage.
Wizard Rod: Nothing better.
Flame Whip: Isn't as strong as the Dragon Beard.
Earth Bell: Rune Bells have more power.

So my final answer is 4: Hardened Dagger, Sage Staff, Apollo Harp and Wizard Rod.

Chicken Knife counts, and at 127 Bat. Pwr it beats the Hardened.

Next to the Ragnarok, the BraveBlade is also stronger than the Excalibur.
The Giant's Axe beats the Rune Axe AND Thor's Hammer
The Tinkerbell also beats the Earth Bell and Rune Chime in terms of pure Bat. Pwr.

Disregarding that, your answer's incorrect. Come back later, you might be a winner!

The AvisKill has a power of 88, Yoichi comes in at 98, and Artemis has a power of 108.

No, I can't take credit for reciting those values off the top of my head; they came from rpgclassics.com

Edit
Alright I guess I'll take this one, too, then.

We'll make it another easy one. Name, in order, the bosses that you fight from the beginning you enter the Cleft of Dimension until the final save point. Here's a hint: I am not counting the super bosses, Omega and Shinryuu, although I'll give you a cookie if you include them. Besides them, there are 8 bosses I'm looking for, unless I forgot one.

I wasn't counting Alte Roite, nor Jura Avis, but you included them in the correct sequence, along with the othre 8 bosses, so you definitely answered the question correctly.

No cookie, though, for not including Omega before the Apprehender and Shinryuu before Necrophobe. happy.gif

All yours, although you technically could've taken it anyways since more than two days have elapsed. thumbup.gif

This question doesn’t come directly from the game, but it is in a FF soundtrack.

What’s the name of the song in FFV which Mon p’tit Chat originated from?

Lets make someone work for this one.

What is the average ammount of JP you need to master a class, rounded to the nearest point?

(Time to whip out those calculators)

Hint, for those who don't know how to find averages.

Possible spoilers: highlight to view
To find an average, you need to add the JP required to master each and every class together, then divide by the number of classes there are

Then 405? Because I know already how many jobs there are. And I added all of their last level ABP requirements and divided it by the # of jobs the game has.. So it's gotta be 405. This is how it turned out in my calculator: 405.857142857142857142857142857143

Or how about 405.857 is 405 isn't the answer?

12853/21 = 612.0476

So 612 points, to the nearest point.

You added up just the last skill's average, not the JP required to master the whole job.

Now, I got the same answer as bigfootmike... BUT... We were both wrong.

Reviewing numbers between the two Job FAQS at gamefaqs, there was something off. One said Black Mage 30% Up MP was 400 points (along with our CoN), the other said Black Mage 30% Up MP was 450. After testing it ingame, I discovered that it is, indeed, 450. Making Caesar correct.

Your up Caesar

Cool. Let's go with an easy one.

What is the latest boss that can be destroyed with an instant-kill spell, such as Odin or Doom?
