As the name implies, there will be a contest for the best FF6 fanfic involving Gogo. For plot elements, it can be either in-game or afterwards. You must convincingly write Gogo as an NPC, like Daryl, or Baram, or Gesthal, etc, and present it in such a way that it's believable that the NPC in question became Gogo. For example, if you think that Baram is Gogo, write a fanfic that tells us how this happened, and that will convince the judges that it's plausible.

The prize is a custom title, lasting two months, and the CoN reserves the right to not accept titles that contain foul language, intolerant behaviour or anything against the CoN rules. All fanfics that we deem to be of good quality will go into the FF6 section.

Writers get points for quality of writing, a believable plot, and creativity. Fanfics must be NO LONGER than 5000 words, and will be rejected if they contain too many spelling and/or grammatical errors. The deadline is Midnight, Eastern Standard Time, two months from today (Midnight on April 18th, 2004).

The judges are staff members, Elena99 and Phoenix, who are not allowed to submit for this.

For submitting, just put it in this forum as usual (you can go bit by bit or all at once), and when it's finished, reply in here with the title and date that it was submitted. You can also put, in the subject of the fanfic submission, "FF6 Gogo Contest".

Okay, I just wanted to add one more thing that Phoenix suggested. We want new works, here, to keep it fresh. So submit something that you haven't submitted before. I don't think this should be a problem, since I think I'm the only person with a "Gogo is so and so" fic that's finished, here.

Oh, and just to reassure you, your identities will not be known to me or Phoenix while we're reading. On the 19th of April, we're going to have a staff member who is not busy assign codenames to the authors before mailing us the fanfics, so that we'll just see a random word like "blueshine" instead of your username or real name.

meeh!!! Im done reveiwing and edititing my story,. its in the "GOGO FANFICTION THINGY" I didnt check it if its 5000 words though. it better be.
