SOLDIER!! Turks are wimpy smug and they wear those damned suits everywhere!!!! Haven't they heard of actual clothes?
Turks aside, SOLDIER is just awesome, they're all badass and don't take nothin' from no one! -------------------- If there are multiple universes, what is it called that they're all in? |

I'd prefer to be a member of cloud's party as they are the good guys. I never side with evil, the shinra are evil soldier and the turks are evil ^^.

Man, gotta go with SOLDIER. To tell you the truth, it's almost so close to me, they equally have their advantages and disadvantages (of course we all have different opinion too). I would go with SOLDIER because of those eyes
 , and who wouldn't want to carry a huge sword around thinkin' they're all bad  .Turks are very close those, get out my hand gun (my really long, ordinary not much of a gun but destroys everything in it's site gun, but seriously not all that....much.) turks are more elite. they all are special, whereas most members of soldier aren't. plus rude was always one of my favorites. and vincent, who used to be a turk.

i think it would have to be a Turk, or a Deepground SOLDIER at a push. i mean, the suits and the sunglasses and the music are cool and all, but who wouldn't want the ability to turn all Behemoth-style in battle, huh?

Soldier. Turks have sunglasses and business suits, theyre cool for villains but there too politician/mafioso for me. I agree with Lady Armageddon Reno and Rude are cool.

Turk, I guess. More social interaction from what we've seen in the game. SOLDIERs are sent to war, too, so...yeah.

Opting to ignore the possibly ambiguous nature of the poll and original post, answering the question the title poses proves much easier. I'd definitely be a Turk. The company's probably better and the position comes with a much higher degree of freedom of choice. The missions aren't as risky or strenuous either. 'Hey, go capture a defenseless little girl for me, she's important to our future.' as opposed to 'Capture those crazy eco-terrorist bombers who're armed to the teeth in a building that may explode any minute now!'". Even more so, if the job ever does become too difficult, you can easily slack off to have conversations about stuff like girls if you so wish or sit around in a bar and enjoy your only shot at life, without the boss knowing.
Also, who doesn't like espionage? Dragging somebody off to their doom with a piano wire or slipping something in their drink is very snazzy. I could easily see a Turk doing something like that. Also the reconnaissance work might help to stimulate the mind. Soldier just doesn't offer that kinda cool, they're mostly a brute force organization. Sure, maybe those who reach Soldier First Class might be sent on cool solo missions like this on rare occasion but it'd probably be a rare event, seldom seen. Besides, it would take lots of time just doing Shinra's basic gruntwork and the ability to be exceptionally good at it to reach such a rank. Also, sure, Soldier has quite the reputation but the actual examples given in game are rather pathetic. Mostly just random battles and those witless losers who guard that submarine. The story makes quite a lot of Soldier First Class but you don't really get to fight any (at least not while they're still members of Soldier anyway). For the most part however, I wouldn't want to be associated with them from what I saw. At the very least though, they can get high television ratings. That's a plus. -------------------- |

I choose Turk, why?
Well, altought they can't use Materia because they are equiped with Ziedrech and there weapons have no room for Materia, they do have awesome skills and great defense. They know virtualy every secret there is to know about Shinra, god knows what they had to endure to get their job, I wouldn't want Scarlet or Heideger as my boss. The Turks are like secret, agent, ninjas. Soldiers are like foot soldier, army men. Both are cool, but I, personally, like the Turks more. So cool.

Though both the Turks and SOLDIER are both awesome... And being in the turks would be more fun in my opinion, I have to go with SOLDIER.....I mean c'mon, you get "scienced" on as one guy put it...haha I would want to be in SOLDIER though because I've always wanted to be able to use a huge-ass sword with ease.
