I would definately be a Turk because they seem to do whatever is necessary to get the job done, no matter how underhanded. And that's my strategy all the way lol

I would be a Turk,
I'v wanted to be a truk since i first played the games years ago.
Who wouldent want to be a turk as Reno as a member, and Vincent as a Ex-turk love them both

Soldier, if you get good enough and become a first class you can wear whatever you want like genesis or Sephiroth, have a troop under your control, get a sword (i like the FF7CC soldier sword better than the one in FF7, much more practical, come on, the one in FF7 was just a lance) go on missions, have a reputation, and look at it, even kids know who soldier is, how many kids know what the turks are?

I'd go with Turk, Our job is directly under Shinra whereas soldier does all the fighting and gets payed less as stated in Crisis Core

Have to go with the Turks I suppose, besides being in SOLIDER would mean your a grunt basically. Unless your first class. Plus as the guy said above it says in Crisis Core Turks get paid more .

I went with SOLDIER, they have the cooler Limit breaks , Plus I like the idea of being infused with the Lifeforce of the Earth, and Turks get played and toyed with way too much,

Vincent's wife cheats on him for the sole purpose of having her boss's and Jenova's itty witle baby-kins Sephiroth, and is then violated and mutated by that same scientist. Yes I know there is more to the story than that, but all the Turks get played with.

Granted, SOLDIERS are just as toyed with, but Turks think that they are in on everything, and they are not, not by a long shot, SOLDIERS just do their duty.

P.S.: I really do hate Vincent's Limit Breaks, I don't wanna transform into some incontrollable ugly.... thing, I just wanna shoot! Lemme hit FIGHT darn it!

deflect bullets with a sword and to jump hundreds of feet into air carrying a sword that massive and powerful and run Fenrir up the spine of a Bahamut? First of all I hate needles. Despise them. And so all the injections and treatments? HELL NO.

Secondly, I don't like close combat. Sneaking and being quiet and methodically taking someone out from a distance is more my style.

And i've seen some people say that they'd join SOLDIER because it's a bigger personnel base. But isn't having only a few handpicked people, that all interact with and know each other and work WELL with each other much better than not knowing, like, EVERYONE? I like a close workplace where I know and like everyone more than a distant one where you know only one or two people.

Most importantly, I'D GET PAID MORE xD

And I adore Vincent so that's a plus.

SOLDIERs are just the strongarm units, anyways. Turks are the real weight. They get the all-important info needed for the SOLDIERs to even GET to where they're going!

you make a good point about the needles im needle phobic myself and the sneaking around is rather awesome itself too but SOLDIERs do that too... Sephiroth did tons of that as well as Zack and Angeal... Cloud didnt so much but thats cuz he doesnt need to...he'll just kill...everything.
i too adore vince hes NEVER out of my party and DoC was definitely one of my favorite stories ever
HOWEVER.. TURKS dont do nearly as much of the workload as SOLDIERs do... and i dont mean the petty 3rd and 2nd class wimps
and you have to admit...1st class is where the glory lies...pay isnt bad either
as for working with others...i dont like that so thats just an opinion view we just dont share and i respect that as well as you being more methodical and me being more IN YOUR FACE and HARDCORE beating gauged...
when it comes down to it though...one is pointless without the other...ok pointless was a bad word choice...lets say one compliments the other...ones the sneaky brains the other is the intelligent face of destruction...
id also prefer a sword over a gun any day
and no offense to vince you or any other vince fan (me being one myself) Cloud would destroy vince in a fight...even as Chaos

No, actually. Sephiroth counts as SOLDIER. Or at least, Ex-SOLDIER.

I'd be a Turk. Turks do everything with class. Even lose. Haha. I've done two cosplays in my life (at Nekocon in Norfolk, VA) and the first was Tseng because I had the hair and the suit for it.

Hm...probably a Turk. I used to think they were way-cool, Reno especially. Now in my old age...hm...Rude seems to be a bit cooler. But regardless, you can't go wrong with the Turks...cool music...stylish suits. True story: when I was like 14 and first got this game, I wanted my parents to buy me a business suit to be cool like the Turks...so clearly, I didn't have the requisite level of coolness to join. So it goes...

Soldier, they're cool as hell. Phisically better and magically, they're just pretty bad ass and if Sephiroth would have not gone rouge then that would have definitly been bad ass. It would be even cooler if they make final fantasy vii but in Sephiroth's perspective.
