These are what I believe to be dummied lines from the game. I thought I'd post them here and have people look at them for a while before posting on my site, since when I don't recognize them doesn't mean that they can't appear at all. Recognize something? Be sure to post.

Two things: First off, my description is not 100 % accurate. There is no prove that it happens under that specific circumstance or is uttered by that specific character. However, you can make pretty good guesses and the location of the lines gives away a lot of information. Second: this is the product of a SECOND run-trough of all the lines in the game. The results of the first are posted on my site (link below), so be sure to check them out if you're interested.

Now for the fun part:

Flashbacks from TERRA when she just fell down:

TERRA: No! Get away from me!

CID: This is my finest work.
These Magitek converters combine the power of magic with machines…

TERRA still unconscious while LOCKE and the Moogles are putting up with Marshal

TERRA: Unh…

A hint that TERRA (you) should walk around the castle for a bit before heading back to the throne room. However, EDGAR flees the scene after being turned down by TERRA, and never stays around to say anything.

EDGAR: Come find me when you feel rested.

Self-explaining. Funny to boot.

MATRON: Edgar's at it again!? He hits on anything that moves!

This implies that SABIN will get you a discount in the castle of Figaro, but there’s no such thing.

MERCHANT: Sir SABIN, I can't take your money!
SABIN: Take it!
Haven't you heard? My brother says I'm a notorious spendthrift!

In accordance to the DOG quote:

What?!
No cider?!

When you leave Duncan’s House in the World of Balance for the first time, you’ll hear this. EDGAR's reply was left out/forgotten.

MAN: Of course. He left a couple of days ago after he heard Master Duncan was slain.
He headed into the mountains.
I heard Duncan's son, Vargas, is missing as well.
I have a bad feeling about this…

EDGAR: He must have gone to pay his respects to his mentor, Duncan…

And thus TERRA meets VARGAS, and shows how timid and nice she in fact is by insulting him without reason (she’s right, but has no prove at all that moment):

TERRA: YOU! You're the coward who murdered Master Duncan!

BANON is nowhere to be found ‘til you have talked to all three of your party members, so he’s not around to say this:

BANON: TERRA…
Talk to everyone here, heed their advice.

The wounded Returner stumbles in, hardly able to speak. TERRA discovers something that nobody knew already.

TERRA: He's badly wounded!

The bit where MOG (another one then your party member, by the way) asks you to take a pick between the three scenario’s. The way it was done in the game has you using MOG to “speak” to the three groups. This was an alternative solution which they left behind, I guess.

(Please choose a scenario.)
BANON and Co.
SABIN
LOCKE

CELES is in chains and is to be executed. So even if the GUARD here is a tool of evil, he’s still got a pretty good point.

GUARD: I'd hate to be in your shoes tomorrow!

This was stored among the lines that appear around the hut of GAU's father, but I can’t think of anybody there saying this (perhaps the Merchant, but all Merchant lines have “Merchant:” in it.

Come to think of it…
I saw some total geek when I last went south, to the Veldt.
Watch yourselves in those parts!

Sounds like the Serpent Trench, but is stored before that, around the time you obtain SHADOW. Maybe the Imperial Base, then.

SABIN: The going is bound to be…pretty rough…

Probably this last lines of a Soldier who has the unfortunate fate of running into SABIN and SHADOW.

SOLDIER: Who in blazes're YOU?

SABIN, questioning the soldier’s proffesionality? No idea, really.

SABIN: What the…?
Where'd these soldiers come from?

Probably talking about Leo. By the way…and “oaf”? That’s a first…

KEFKA: What an oaf!
When I get my hands on him…

Nay!

CYAN: Thou musn't give up the fight!

Freaky ghosts on the Phantom Train…

You can't escape…
Nowhere to run…
Nowhere to hide…

The second one appears, but SABIN sais nothing before it.

SABIN: I know!
CYAN: You have an idea?
SABIN: Okay…
The time has come to see if all my training has paid off. Come, CYAN!

People can be so flattering about strangers…fortunately, this guy’s not.

There's only one airship in the world. It's owned by a gambler, or should I say pirate…?

CELES, still rehearsing a bit. Or not CELES. Anyway, somebody’s getting busy at the Opera House. There should be music notes at the start and bottom of this, but I can’t type them. Live with it.

Oh
Oh
Please,
How I long to
Be with you!

LOCKE, talking about Ultros’ inter ference. Pretty bizarre, since he wasn’t there when he attacked for the first time.

LOCKE: Again!

Two lines uttered by LOCKE. No answers are given to his questions.

Edit
Consider the previous line non-dummied. He probably sais it when you screw up, after which you will receive another chance. Ultors, ofcourse, won't quit his actions.

LOCKE: Impresario, what's up above the stage?

LOCKE: That has to be a joke!

Again, SETZER is being insulted. By CYAN, out of all characters! What a world. The “flip-a-coin-and-win-CELES-scene.

CYAN: That man uses people…

The first one is a dummy, and you’ll get a scene involving CID and SETZER interacting (in a bad way) instead if you head back after the banquet to the Blackjack. Not to be confused by :” SETZER: Repairs aren't finished yet. You'd better take the boat from Albrook.”, which he sais after the scene is over.

SETZER: I'll have to repair the air ship. Go scout around and let me know what's happening.

Kefka, just before he tosses Ifrit and Shiva into the pit. You’ll hear the laughing sound in the game, making the quote useless.

Nee, hee, hee, hee, hee!

He is? Some random Esper thought on Maduin. Seems he always had a strong connection to humans in general…

You're the Gate Keeper, Maduin?

You just want to peer into the human realm beyond the north gate, eh, Maduin?

Strong winds…
Be careful, Maduin.

Most likely TERRA, but definately after the Espers escape from the Sealed Gate.

"Something happened…”
"I'm not sure…”

IF you would have CELES just after the Blackjack crashed down in flames due to the Espers, CELES would have siad this. However, the good girl is still imprisoned by the Empire and you won’t see her until the trip to Thamasha.

Celes: Kefka's sure to come up with another demented plan. We need to do something FAST!

Ooh…perhaps even a hidden item that nobody found? It’s probably the Magicite Testper….or MAYBE NOT.

Got "?????.”

Vector after the destruction of it, inside the Imperial Palace.

You!?
How'd you get in here?

Sure, GESTAHL, sure.

GESTAHL: I assure you, I have answered your questions truthfully.

I always thought it was bizarre that SABIN never responds when he and CELES see GERAD in Nikeah. Here the sentence is.

SABIN: What's going on, here? Brother!!

I’m not sure if this is dummied or not, but it’s not the crazy old man who has stored Rachel in his basement.

LOCKE just left here a while ago. He was happy…
…saying something about learning where some mystic treasure was…

CELES: LOCKE…
He's alive!!

Sounds a little…creepy. Thamasha. Owzer’s servant taking Relm with him, I suppose.

One day, a man working for an aristocrat in Jidoor came and took that young woman back with him!

This does appear in the game, but not as dialogue. It appears as text in the cinema where your party is being forced onto the roof of the train towards the end of Sabin's scenario. I sort of interpreted this to be the Ghosts all chanting in unison. I thought it was a very creepy scene. Well done.

Spend some time as Maduin in the Esper world, and you'll find all 3 of these.

The second part appears in the game, and I'm VERY certain that the other three do not. I inserted the last line "The time has come, etc..." for some context, but I know it's not in the game.

About the lines from the Esper World: You're probably right. I had doubts about it: I've never really bothered in the Esper World since after seeing it so many times all emotions are gone and what remains is the most boring part in the game.

Thanks on both remarks.

I know I've heard this before, is it another quote you added for context? Banon can be found prematurely and he will direct you to talk to your friends.

As Locke, you can stumble onto Celes in the opera house practicing. Not sure if that is what she says.

!st one: I am absolutely positive it was meant for him, and you thinking that it might be him without the context I have is too much of a coincidence. It goes.

2nd one: No context quote. I'm not sure what you mean by 'prematurely', though You take Terra for the first time to Banon and he will ramble about the Box of Pandora. The scene ends in darkness and then Terra wakes up. The next time you face Banon, it's only after you've talked to Locke, Sabin and Edgar and he's outside to ask you if you decided. Some clarification would be helpful.

3th one: Again, I don't see what you mean. When you walk Locke to Celes in Opera Outfit, he'll mumble about looking good in ribbons and what-not.

1. I'm not sure if you were implying that this was dummied or not, but if you were saying its dummied, it isn't. Just take Sabin with you without Edgar, and there ya go.

2. The Guard says this line right before "Keep a close eye on her!" "Yes, sir! I can go for days without sleep!"

3. If Cyan is in your party during the opera, he will say this after "If you.....if Celes becomes my wife, I'll help." "What, are you stupid!?"

2. I've found Banon and he's said this. Haven't played in awhile so sorry if I'm vague.

3. Locke doesn't talk to Celes when he witnesses her practicing, he peeks in at her, don't remember how this happens. However, I'm not sure what she says, I thought she coughed or blushed or insulted herself or something directly after.

The thing that really stinks about the Sabin one is that you don't get a discount, even if he is leading your party....but they still say that. sad.gif

Examining your site, I discovered this one:

STRAGO is a Blue Mage by training. He can memorize the attacks of monsters he has fought…

That one can be found by exploring Thamasa as well. Probably after talking to strago, but before the fire.

Because I knew for a fact that Sabin didn't get a discount, I immediately assumed that the line was a dummy.

I thought that sounded familiar, but upon checking I wasn't able to find it. But I guess that it can be found somewhere. I'll remove it as soon as this post has dried out, in which case I'll upload the whole things as a whole.

Peeking? Locke? Naughty, naughty...but not something I've ever seen. Is there anybody who can confirm this? It's not that I don't trust you, oh Ancient, it's just that I'm having a hard time imagining how Locke would peek. Stand at the door and press the action button?

It's pretty easy to miss some of these things, and I appreciate your help.

The action button may not even be required. But he looks in, gives the thumbs up sign and says something like "Way to go, CELES"

Oh! No, wait, I get it. You're referring to the very first time when Celes locks herself up in the dressing room. She sings something different then, something like:

Do...Re...Mi...
Ma...
Ri...
Aaaa...

Locke then suffers from a laughing fit, waves his finger and indeed states: "Way to go, Celes!"

So this is another one.
