Hey they're cool! I used to have all the FFVII ones except Yuffie but my girlfriend sold them...
Wow, they even have Esper Terra and Opera Celes...coolio! And Strago's spotted pants are way cool.

There are keychains? I didn't even know. Somehow, I think if you don't know if Leo exsists that there isn't one but I can look. I wonder what other kinds of FF VI collectibles there are. Looks like I'll be breaking out search engines for the rest of the day.
Also, I'd reccomend that you don't put such a large image directly in your post but link to it instead. I have DSL so it loaded fine for me but there might be a few people here with 56k and I bet the loading times would suck for the 56k users.

Sorry about that, I just mad ethe pic a link. To help your search, I know they were released by Bandai under Gashapon... I think Gashapons are toy machines in japan and that's the only place they were released. The reason I think there may be a Leo is because Bandai also released pencil top characters, and I've seen a Leo on Ebay.

Anyone else seen the FFVII keyrings? They're awesome:

All PCs
Sephiroth
Hojo
Mog (from Mog's House!)
Chocobos of all colours
Rufus and the Turks
Dyne and Marlene
pretty much every character

Good luck Random Person whom I just met, (Sorry for the bad joke, I just coudn't resist the play on words) all I could find is the Terra one on eBay in my search. Here's the link if anybody's interested. These things must be rarer then rare. I searched Ask Jeeves, Google, Hot Bot, and eBay for hours during the past two days and as I said, the above link is the result. Sorry for the inconclusive results noonchild, I couldn't find out one way or another if there was ever a Leo or not. I did find out that Bandai's been in the capsule toy business since '79 and that these were made in 1994. Also, gashapons are basicaly capsule toys from a toy machine, just as you've said. That means that these weren't made to be sold in stores.

Oh well, its a cool collection though. It definatly looks complete to me with all fourteen characters, Kefka and what apears to be an extra Mog. My only complaint is that Gogo's face cloth is a part of his head so you can't remove it and see who he is laugh.gif . Well, that's all I've got to say on the subject for now. If by some odd instance I can find a Leo or some other minor character noonchild's missed, I'll let everybody know.

Well, I made my name for that exact reason, so it's not a problem happy.gif

I'll check out that link right now! If I ever get my hands on those keychains.... shifty.gif

I've seen FFVI keychains on eBay by a company other than Bandai in the past. They looked to be a bit larger and, for some of the characters, had better detail, different poses, etc. I think I first saw them for sell on a Japanese website, but I'll be darned if I can find it again...

Can't remember if they had a General Leo, either.

OMG those are so awesome! Most figures arn't done that well and have weird looking faces. But these are near perfect. noonchild you probably don't want to sell those now that you finally got the whole set, but if you do let us know. smile.gif How long did it take to collect these, and where did you get them?
